These are great!

I wanted a less bulky pair of trail running shoes and these are it! The minute I tried them on I knew I'd love them. I've only ran in them 1 time, so far, for about 4 miles but I didn't have any complaints. They're comfortable, lightweight, grippy on hills and seem more narrow/less bulky than my last few pairs. These were true in size to my other Brooks shoes.

Did it again!

I have run in just about every series of the TrueGrit, they continue to be my go to shoe. Comfortable, responsive and light. They allow you to maintain your natural stride length through the gait cycle.

Attractive, lightweight show

I loved these shoes the first time I ever wore them. I had none of the pain that you usually get after wearing a new pair of sneakers. It actually feels like I've owned them for some time. I just really do not like how slippery the bottoms are. I fell this past weekend on some slippery rocks that the shoe just slides around on after rain or close to the brook. Regardless, these are awesome.

My go-to shoe

I've been running in the Pure Grit for trails and Pure Flow for roads for years and years. They are my go-to shoes and never disappoint. I love how I can just lace them up and GO! No need to be broken in like some shoes out there. The Grit is a lightweight shoe. Excellent traction. I don't like a lot of cushioning when running on trails; if you do, these might not be the shoe for you…

How is the PureGrit for road running? I train mostly on trails, with an occasional run on the road, and am wondering if this shoe would work for that.

Any trail shoe can occasionally be used on the road if it is part of your route. We don't recommend excessive road usage.

I just bought the PureFlow shoe and did 2 test runs with and absolutely love them! I have high arches, and also have a bunion on one foot. It's hard for me to find shoes that work. I have recently purchased a New Balance Gobi Trail for my mountain runs. I don't love them, the terrains sometimes make the ankle part of my shoe dig into my ankle and the heel stack is also a bit higher, making me feel like I am going to roll my ankle when I step on a big branch or rocks. I am wondering if the PureGrit feels like the PureFlow. I had tried the PureCadence last month, but the extra support in them made my bunion toe feel more pressured, while the PureFlow felt great! If the PureGrit feels like the PureFlow, I will buy them in a heartbeat. If the PureGrit feels like the PureCadence, then I will skip them. Thoughts?

Hi! I love your puregrits and think they could compete with the hottest styles of nikes and adidas if you make a pair that's a grey and black. The colors you pick are always too girly bright instead of conveying the strength, female prowess, and style of people with active lifestyles. What if the shoe could be worn on the trail and with a cute outfit? What if travelers could feel cool in them - from the plan to the trail to their meeting? Runners love and trust brooks more than the nikes and adidas but we need some core color ways that make the shoe more versatile (especially grey black that looks good with anything while hiding the trail dirt). Then, get those shoes in the hands of microbloggers and fashion editors plus partner with cool lifestyle brands like AWAY and bobo's bar's etc.
