Most comfortable shoe in years

The shoe finder is magical, because it pointed me to this one. I'm totally, irretrievably, in love with this shoe. I have plantar fasciitis, and this shoe holds my heel in a sweet, loving embrace. I love the feel if the soft inner material, but it's not the typical ventilated material. (If your feet sweat a lot, you may not care for it.) For me, the ride is the perfect blend of soft cushion and…

For me, the ride is the perfect blend of soft cushion and road feel. Please, please, don't change a thing except color offerings. I got the purple, and I'm getting lagoon next. I also got a men's pair for my husband. Read More

Like running on clouds!

I typically order size 6.5 in Brooks, these feel just a tad tighter, however these are the most comfortable shoes I've had. With flat feet, I do not feel like I need to put orthotics in them-they are incredibly comfortable during my long runs. Would highly recommend!

Best pair of running shoes I've ever owned!

I recently decided to get moving again and started the hunt for the necessary items. I went to a local running shoe store and tried on probably 10 pairs of shoes. Some of them felt pretty good, but I knew these were the ones as soon as I put them on. From a fit standpoint, these are phenomenal. I have a narrow heel and finding a shoe that doesn't slip is tough. The padding in the heel of these…

Some of them felt pretty good, but I knew these were the ones as soon as I put them on. From a fit standpoint, these are phenomenal. I have a narrow heel and finding a shoe that doesn't slip is tough. The padding in the heel of these hugs my heel perfectly! The rest of the shoe fits like a dream, just enough room, but not too much. They have just enough cushion, but still let me really feel the road. I'm actually debating on buying a second pair for a backup, I love these so much. Read More

Second pair of this style and it won't be my last!

These shoes are a great balance between being comfortable but still feeling connected to the road. Quick enough for the track but comfortable enough for a long run.

I have been running a few years on the Cascadia, splitting my miles between sidewalks and trails. I want a more light weight shoe for a road race I have coming up. How would these compare to the Cascadia? Will my foot miss the cushioned support?

Hi Anna, The Pure Cadence is going to be more light weight but you will not feel the cushion that you do in the Cascadia. The Pure Cadence is intended to feel more connected to the ground and the run. You could look at the Launch 5 as a light weight neutral option. Run Happy, Brooks Running Read More

What is the major difference between the PureFlow and the PureCadence? I have run in both as well as the PureGrit. I run mostly roads between 11 and 30 miles each week. Shoe finder says the PureFlows would be a better match from me but specs seem to be comparable between the shoes. Trying to find the best shoe to replace my current PureGrits that are a little stiff for me.

Hi Caitlyn, The PureFlow and the PureCadence are similar in the way that they are designed for that connective experience. The PureFlow are a neutral shoe and the PureCadence are a support shoe. Therefore the main difference is whether or not you pronate or not! If you pronate the Cadence would be a great fit! Read More

I got my first pair of brooks 5 years ago and was recommended the pure cadence after my probation test. I believe I have slight under probation/supination though. It feels like I don't need quite as much support now, possibly some of my supination has been corrected and I'm looking for a new training shoe for my upcoming half. Would you recommend sticking with the pure cadence or trying a more neutral fit? Thanks!

2018/03/17 Boise, ID randeebeth

Hi! I would recommend sticking with the shoe that is working! Don't change it if it's going well! Brooks Running

How does one tighten the shoe laces on the purecadence 7? It doen't look like these are traditional laces. Thanks.

2018/03/04 Milwaukee, WI Jackie

Hi Jackie! They are normal laces so you can just tighten them like normal! Brooks Running

Is the sizing for the PureCadence 7 more similar to the PureCadence 5 or PureCadence 6? I am a 1/2-size different in each one and wanted to make sure I ordered the right size for the 7. Thank you!

2018/02/19 NC Jackie

Hi Jackie! The sizing is more similar to the Pure Cadence 6! Brooks Running
