Perfect for long distance running

I run two official marathons each year and have been using these shoes for about 4-5 years. I run two official marathons each year and have been using these shoes for about 4-5 years. I have tried other shoes, but always find myself coming back to these as they offer the most support for my arch and overall comfort. If you have a wider foot, these are perfect in comparison to other Brooks out there. I just had to retire a pair that probably has well over 1000 miles on them due to wearing out near toes most recently. I also like to see that the #7 has brought back the more comfortable shoe tongue. On #5 and #6 the tip of the tongue was super rigid and would leave cuts in your ankle if high socks weren't worn. One comment I have is that I would like to see a better color selection on these/ as well as other Brooks for men. Other shoe companies have brighter/ more hip looking color combinations, where these always seem to play it safe. Read More

PureCadence 7 = A+

This is my fourth iteration of Pure Cadence and this is the best. Great structure, but still light. Great stability.

Made for running

I am a new runner—4 months in. Tried Ravenna 9's first and switched them out for these. I love them. IT pain has gone away, just completed my first event, HTC high desert in Bend, OR. Always said "I'm not a runner," but now at 45 I've run over 20 miles in a week. I've done plenty of walking and hiking over the years and am on my feet often for work. These are not 'athletic shoes', the general…

These are not 'athletic shoes', the general purpose shoe for all occasions. These are running shoes. Light, they fit unlike anything i've worn. No hotspots after 8+ miles. I highly recommend them. Just right amount of cushion and light

These shoes are great, I have tried on pretty much every running shoe there is and at this point in my life the cushion is perfect , not too much to take away from responsiveness. The fit is great a bit roomy in the toe box for me but that is welcome on longer runs . The shoes look pretty nice also which is a plus .

Excellent distance trainer

Light, minimal drop, supportive sole. Upper is very thin, but not as flimsy as some (I wouldn't call it "sock-like"). Take a lot of abuse and keep in shape. Last me (174 lb male) about 450 miles per pair. Great for rainy/wet conditions—shed water easily so you don't get waterlogged after stepping into a deceptively deep puddle. All-around great shoe—my current go-to for marathon training of all…

I had to buy a size 9 in the PureCadance 4s and I wear a size 8.5 in the PureCadance 6s What size do you recommend I buy for these?

2018/04/23 IL JeffJeff

We recommend going up .5 from your normal shoe size. I would stick with the size 9. Brooks Running

Would you recommend this for flat foot runners? And if so what would be good advice would you give I order to to feel good on foot

Hi Ismael, The Pure Cadence 7 has an arch range around Flat/Medium arches. We would recommend using two tools on our website that you can utilize to help find the right shoe. The first is our shop local tool. This allows you to find a specialty running shop in your area that can analyze your gait. Specialty running shops are indicated by a blue Brooks logo underneath their name. Here is the link: http://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/store-locator The second option would be to use our Shoe Finder. This is more of a guideline rather than an exact science. Getting your gait analyzed in person is always the best way to go but if for whatever reason you are not able to make it to one, the shoe finder is your next best bet. Here is the link: http://www.brooksrunning.com/en_us/ShoeFinder If you have any questions or need any other assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. Read More
