Marathon trials are finally here and all the Brooks hype is taking place at the Brooks Hyperion House at the Switchyards in downtown Atlanta. Join us for a full weekend of free events you won’t want to miss. Get the details for each day below — all times posted are EST.

Day 1: Thursday, 2/27

Thursday 2/27

  • Join us for the launch of our fastest shoes ever. Mario Fraioli, host of “The Morning Shakeout” podcast, will moderate a discussion with two-time Olympian, Des Linden, about her 2018 Boston Marathon victory and the enigmatic black shoe she wore during her epic race.

  • We’ll be selling a limited quantity of Hyperion Elite and Hyperion Tempo shoes along with our elite-athlete race kits and limited-edition Marathon Trials gear.

  • Emily Abbate, host of “Hurdle” podcast and freelance writer, will moderate a panel discussion with women leaders in running including Brooks CMO Melanie Allen, Olympian Des Linden, Women’s Running Editor-in-Chief Jen Ator, Black Girls Run CEO JayEll Alexander, and Fleet Feet Nashville owner Christi Beth Adams. Discussion starts at 6pm after a light happy hour.


Friday, 2/28

  • Join Brooks Running and the November Project co-founders for a shakeout-style fun run followed by a light breakfast. Run starts at Brooks’ Hyperion House.

  • Chris Chavez, creator of Citius Magazine and writer for Sports Illustrated, will moderate a discussion with Keith and Kevin Hanson about their influential work with elite US distance runners and the history of their team.

  • Emily Abbate, host of “Hurdle” podcast and freelance writer, will moderate a conversation with several of Brooks Running’s Hometown Hero athletes — everyday runners who have qualified for the trials without being a professional runner.


Friday’s fun continues

  • RunnerSpace and will combine forces to host a live video panel with athletes from the Brooks Beasts Track Club, a professional team of middle-distance athletes.

  • Julie Culley, Head Coach for Georgetown University cross-country and track and field, and her husband, Chris Farley, owner of Pacers Run Stores, will host several athletes, influencers and sport personalities in their podcast as we get ready for trials.

  • We’re open all day so you can stock up on gear including limited-edition trials shirts, the race-ready kits of our elite athletes, our exclusive Dare Run Bras, and the brand-new, ultra fast Hyperion Elite and Hyperion Tempo — while supplies last.



  • Join Brooks and November Project for a pre-race breakfast to fuel a full day of race watching and cheering.

  • Cheer your heart out for athletes trying to qualify for Tokyo 2020. We’ll have TV coverage of the race playing live at the Hyperion House, and best of all, we’ll be steps from the course so we can watch racers pass by three times.
