Dyad 9 a big disappointment

what a shame that Brooks changed their Dyad sneaker. The neutral shoe helped so many people. The toe box is now smaller and the width not only got narrower but there is also a noticeable seam that runs along the side of the foot where a lot of people have foot deformities. Another issue is that there is only one color selection for people with need a wider shoe. I hope the next generation of…

I returned this shoe twice!

I wear custom orthotics and a Brooks customer service rep recommended the Dyad 9. The first time it came in, I had to return it due to the fact that one shoe was a 1/4 HIGHER than the other shoe. This could have been very dangerous if I hadn't noticed this problem. Brooks sent me a second pair - and a second problem. This time the right shoe was unstable, tilted, and did not sit flat on the…

This could have been very dangerous if I hadn't noticed this problem. Brooks sent me a second pair - and a second problem. This time the right shoe was unstable, tilted, and did not sit flat on the surface. Again I returned the shoe seeking my refund, (which takes forever by the way). And lastly, the shoe is WAY TOO NARROW. I've worn 2E shoes that are much wider than the Dyad 9 in 4E. I see they have marked this shoe down. Good idea. This shoe is terrible. Don't buy this shoe. Too Narrow and my foot is not wide in any other Brooks.

I read the comments about this shoe before I ordered them to get an idea on the fit. Against all that I was reading about this shoe I decided to give it chance, since every foot is different. I should of listened to the commenters. The shoes are headed back to Brooks right now. Thank you, to all the people who commented on this shoe and other shoes. I will listen now and going forward.

Please go back to dyad 8. The 8 was perfect.

The 8 was perfect. These 9's have a narrowetr sole are less stable, pls the colors of the 8 were much better and the design was better looking and now functional, comfortable. Just remake the 8 again, with the exact same colors you had. I went to buy the dyad 9 today but got the Mizuno instead because you ruined a perfect shoe.

Hi Trevor! The midsole is an EVA compound! Brooks Running

how does this shoe compare to the Glycerin 13 in terms of comfort and cushion ? the 14 wasn't as cushioned as the 13 and I keep searching for a brooks shoe that gives me this cushion , i have hurt feet from walking the streets 35 years , anyone know of a shoe as comparable as the Glycerin 13, haven't tried the 15 until i hear any advice , thanks.

I was walking in Brooks Dyad 8 size 10.5 and they fit my very wide foot well. Now I can't find the Dyad 8. Is the Dyad 9 the same width, shape, etc. as the Dyad 8?

2017/09/24 Tivoli, NY David

Yes, the sizing is the same. We recommend sticking with your same size.

I have high arches, underpronate and I use custom orthotics. Is this shoe appropriate? What about the dyad walker?

2017/08/01 CA Terry

This is a great option, as it is a neutral shoe that accommodates orthotics well! The Dyad Walker would be equally a great option.
