Most comfortable hiking shoes

I bought these shoes last year before doing a Chamonix to Zermatt hiking trip. I did one 14 mile hiking trip to break them in. No problems on the hike they were amazing. I came home and bought a second back up pair. Next hike was a rim to rim one day Grand Canyon hike - yep 24 miles. I came home and bought a second back up pair. Next hike was a rim to rim one day Grand Canyon hike - yep 24 miles. I am now doing training hikes in them in preparation for another Swiss Alpine trek - this time Zermatt to Grindelwald. I have never had a blister or pain. I did however add Superfeet liners. The grip they have on rocks is amazing. I have a prosthetic hip and these shoes have allowed me to continue hiking. Now if Brooks just made high tops all would be perfect. - We need them for part of this trip that will be over glaciers and snow. Read More

Please Bring the design of the Cascadia 11 Back!

I bought these after putting a ton of miles on my 11s. I did everything in those (the 11s): hiking, running, backpacking and never had any problems. The most comfortable and versatile pair of shoes I owned. Unfortunately I had issues from the start with the 12s. I had huge blisters on my feet after a short, 6 mile backpacking trip. I started wearing Cascadias in their 7th edition and never had…

I started wearing Cascadias in their 7th edition and never had issues before. So disappointing. I hope they bring back the same go to style from before. If not, I'll have to start searching for a replacement brand. Read More

Worse shoe ever

The only reason I am even giving this shoe 1 star is because I really loved the way it looked and I loved the colors. That's where my love for this shoe stops. I have worn Brooks for years and this shoe was terrible. It was very narrow, very tight fitting. I had a blister on my big toe the first (and only time) I wore them. They immediately were sent back. They were also hard and very…
