Comfortable and waterproof

I love to have comfortable shoes that keep my feet dry for walking the dogs. These fit the bill. The fit is similar to other brooks shoes that I have worn.

Best hiking shoes ever!!!!!

I bought these for our hike on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu to wear for 4 days straight. I only wore them twice before the trek for about 4 hours both times and they already felt broken in and very comfortable. I bought these for our hike on the Inca trail to Machu Picchu to wear for 4 days straight. I only wore them twice before the trek for about 4 hours both times and they already felt broken in and very comfortable. During the trek we experienced all types of terrain and weather which these shoes did phenomenal in. We hiked over 30 miles in the Andes through rocks, dirt, and also dealing with rain and hail and these shoes stayed dry as can be. There were other people on our trek that had nice hiking boots and they even said they wish they would have gotten these as they were much more light weight also. I will definitely be buying another pair of these. Read More

Strong shoe

I used these used for the first time to train for Ragnar and to run Ragnar at Crystal Mt. These are very strong and steady shoes. They will become my hiking shoes. The ones I bought feel like they are the water resistant one, which is good, but I bit hot for the summer. They are not as comfortable as my street running shoes because they feel heavy, buy they ended up being great for rough terrain.

I would definitely buy this product again.

I have worn Brooks for years and always buy Gortex. I like to have my feet protected from weather, cold or wet. I walk in all kinds of weather. I have worn Ghost in the past and find these equal to them. I read some of the reviews before I purchased and was somewhat hesitant but do not find them too stiff or too narrow. Admittedly I do not have a wide foot and I am a walker not a runner.

Great hiking shoe for PNW

I bought this shoe because I owned an older version years ago and liked the way they fit. I always wear the same size in Brooks shoes, but these were a little snug for my arthritic feet. I will be using these only for hiking and have already put about 30 miles on them. They did well in rocky, dry conditions.
