Very solid performance on recent trail run with poor footing. Shoe felt like it was part of me. Snugger fitting shoe so may want to go up a half size for wiggle room in the toes. Read More

SIZE UP if you like the regular Cascadia 12s

I have two pair of Brooks Cascadia 12 shoes that fit perfectly. I have almost 500 miles between them. I've never had even a little discomfort with either. The soles on the GTX version are between a quart of an inch and a half an inch narrower in the same size versus the regular Cascadia 12s. I thought they'd stretch a little, but they haven't yet. Sadly, I get numb toes and foot pain from these. I can't imagine why Brooks would change the sizing / fit, but keep the same model number for the shoe. Had high hopes for these, but sadly, what I got was disappointment. SIZE UP if you love the regular Cascadia 12. Read More

great shoes, particularly if you roll outward

i tend to roll foot outward, causing a fair share of ankle problems.

i tend to roll foot outward, causing a fair share of ankle problems. podiatrist suggested this brand as they aren't designed like most other shoes to combat pro-nating. I have to say they absolutely helped. Not perfect yet, but a lot better. only disappointment is that they don't have more trail shoes in wide width. Read More
