Loving this shoe

I bought these as a replacement for my last pair. Just changed the color scheme. Brought them on vacation and I've worn them every day on long runs, shorts runs and speed work. Love them!

Super comfortable

I just began running again after 5 years. Ordered a half size large. Was thrilled these shoes fit so well. Light and comfortable. Think I might order another pair because comfortable shoes are sometimes hard to find.

Very light, recommend for track workouts.

I was looking for a lighter marathon shoe, but these don't have enough cushioning for that kind of mileage (for me). Maybe a good speedwork shoe, but search continues for a lighter marathon distance racer.

Fantasitic

I picked Asteria because it provides some support as I'm a little bit overpronated and have been wearing shoes with support for my training. I needed a pair of shoes for my marathon race and saw Asteria with parameters very close to my training shoes but much lighter for the speed. When I first wore it, I ran my fastest tempo and I knew this is the pair for my race. Last weekend, I ran my…

I needed a pair of shoes for my marathon race and saw Asteria with parameters very close to my training shoes but much lighter for the speed. When I first wore it, I ran my fastest tempo and I knew this is the pair for my race. Last weekend, I ran my second marathon, they were just fantastic to push me through the entire course, super comfortable, light, fast and my feet were very stable. I ran 20 min faster than my previous PR and 27 min faster than my BQ time, no wall for this marathon at all! Thank you, Brooks, I am buying another pair. Just a reminder, I bought size 7, half size smaller than my other running shoes (7.5) as they fit large as suggested. Read More

Fantastic, comfortable shoes

These shoes are very comfortable and felt good the first time I put them on. They are good for longer speedwork (e.g., tempo runs) and a great marathon racing flat for those who need a little more cushion and/or support. The one main drawback is the lack of traction. These shoes slip quite easily on wet ground. While I realize shoes will slip on wet ground, there is room for significant…

These shoes are very comfortable and felt good the first time I put them on. They are good for longer speedwork (e.g., tempo runs) and a great marathon racing flat for those who need a little more cushion and/or support. The one main drawback is the lack of traction. These shoes slip quite easily on wet ground. While I realize shoes will slip on wet ground, there is room for significant improvement in that department with these shoes. I just ran a marathon and the ground was wet and I felt like every time I pushed off, I was losing so much energy due to lack of traction. Fix this and these shoes will be perfect! Read More

Hi! I like to test my speed while I run and normally go for shorter runs (2-5 miles) 3x/week. I do have fairly bad shin splints. Would you recommend these shoes for my running needs?

How do these shoes work for flat-footed women?

2017/08/13 Hicksville, NY KB143

They are fairly narrow and may not be the best option for flat feet. You should look ath the Dyad, Addiction or Ariel instead!
