TrailTack rubber, found in the Cascadia and the Caldera, is a sticky compound which provides outstanding uphill and downhill traction, even on wet surfaces.
The upper refers to the part of the shoe which covers the toes, top of the foot, sides of the foot and back of the heel. So, basically everything that isn’t the midsole or outsole.
