Energized Cushioning
Running shouldn't be a zero-sum game. That's why our BioMoGo DNA and DNA AMP midsole technology provides light-weight, best-in-class energy return. You give. Ricochet gives back.

Quick Transitions
Your energy reserves aren't unlimited. So our engineers stepped in to create a flexible, arrow-point pattern on the outsole to help you move from heel to toe quickly, without losing energy.

Intuitive Fit, Incognito Comfort
Comfort goes stealth mode inside the sleek, adaptable Fit Knit upper. Hidden features include a heel wrap and an ultra-soft heel tab to shield your Achilles from irritation.

A welcome addition to the stable
I usually do my long training runs in the current iteration of the Ghost. The I read about the energy return feature of the Ricochet I thought I would try it. At my age anything helps. I used the shoe (with a Protalus insert) in a 10 mile run in the cold and was thrilled with the feel and performance. I may have found a new best friend.

A solid shoe that's got better as the miles have added up
The Ricochet for me is a solid shoe for my steady miles. I've used the Launch 4 and been happy with the ride but needed a bit more cushioning for my easy day's. The cushioning is right in the middle of firm and soft, Goldilocks right for me, and after 100 miles seems to have softened slightly adding to the comfort. The drop is noticeably lower then the Launch, again welcome. The Ricochet doesn't wow me but I've been reaching for it more and more recently and finish each run happy so it's certainly got more going for it than perhaps first impressions give. The upper looks good feels OK but doesn't crank down on the foot if you prefer a more fitted feel. I've been happy and had no issues with my foot moving around despite the roomier feel in the midfoot and around the toes. The outsole is really durable showing very little wear after the 100 miles so far and I wear outsoles heavily. I wouldn't use this for faster days but the ride is smooth with a decent flex. The weight is higher then I'd normally like but runs lighter than you'd think so is working fine. In summary it's not a game changer but a good solid training shoe.
