    Very comfy for longer distances

    2017/08/22 | Hampshire |

Don't normally buy shoes online but Brooks have good returns policy and I had a pair of Glycerin 13s previously so bought same size. Quick delivery, very comfy shoe right from the start. Done couple of 10k runs in them and had no trouble at all.

    Yes, I would recommend this!

Well cushioned neutral running shoe - works well for me

    2017/08/12 | North Wiltshire |

Have been using Glycerin shoes for the past few years - first pair was Gycerin 10. I don't do big distance so replace every 2 years or so. Have had 'G12' in the interim and have found the 'G14' similar in many aspects (perhaps unsurprisingly). I have always found the wet grip on pavement a bit marginal in Glycerin but the G14 seems better. I hope that this doesn't mean the treads wear out before I'm ready to replace (usually about 700k for me). Treads have always appeared to be only superficially worn on previous pairs.

    Top quality cushioned runners

    2017/07/05 | London |

I've worn the Brooks Glycerin on two runs so far - they've announced themselves - and how! First impressions = outstanding. Super comfortable, but you can still feel the ground under your feet and the undulations of the terrain. Excellent comfort and feel in heel and midfoot. Not quite the spring off the front foot as my saucony guide 9, but they are a dream to wear and not even worn in. Only done a 5k and an 8k run so far, so not sure how the front foot will feel on longer runs, but I really like these. My first Brooks and I've already recommended to friends. I'm a heavier guy (83kgs) and find most running shoes are designed for people 20kgs lighter, so lack the cushioning to prevent injury, but these Glycerin are bang on the money. Highly recommended.

I would certainly consider buying another/upgraded pair.

I am very heavy footed and these shoes have very good cushioning. Likewise, the grip is good for road and light trail running.

    Excellent neutral shoe

I have used Glycerins as my road shoes since Glycerin 7 and the 14s are up to the usual standard

    Thin sole

    2016/12/20 | Liverpool |

Although expensive, this is a comfortable shoe. However, I have been disappointed with the how quickly they have worn out. The rubber element of the sole which makes contact with the ground is far too thin and before long it wears out exposing the cushioning to the immediate contact with the surface which in turn wears out even quicker. I am only 70Kilos and shoes usually last me much longer.
