Comments about Pulse Lite Glove II:

While this may be a 3-in-1 mitten, it works best if you use both the inner glove and the outer mitten together when temperatures slide below 30F. I use other gloves for 40F weather so I'm not sure how the individual components of utopia perform on their own. Worn together, they kept my hands dry and warm when I went running during light snowfall. I always had trouble keeping my hands warm but these gloves are perfect. They fit well, wick well and you hardly feel their weight while running. Terry cloth to wipe your nose is a good feature, especially if the temperature is so cold your nose is bound to water. Super comfortable. No hesitation in giving this five stars.

I love these gloves! They're nice and lightweight and breathe well. They've kept my hands nice and warm in 40 degree (F) weather so far. I'm not sure how well they'll work in colder temps, but I am very satisfied so far!

I have very small hands (We're talking ring size of about 4.5) and the S/M pair fits me perfectly.

I've bought three pairs of these, they are that good. I like them better than any of the other name brands I've bought (Nike and Targets brand). I wear two of the pairs on every run during the winter (one pair got bleached on accident, and are out of commission, don't bleach these). Highly recommended.

Comments about Pulse Lite Glove II:

The fingers on my Bontrager liners were wearing out, so I bought these great-looking Brooks gloves online with a $100 gift card that I won. While I still think they look great, they're not my favorite. They're not fleece or thermal, so they're best suited to cool--not cold--weather. They are a little too tight on my hands, especially when I pull them on. I'm a woman with a very slight build, so I bought a size small. I wish I would have bought a medium, but I wish even more that the material on the gloves were stretchier.

I'm not a huge fan of the gloves, but they're nice for cool days, when my hands get hot and sweaty wearing fleece gloves. I'll get another pair of the Bontrager gloves, though; I like them better.

Comments about Pulse Lite Glove II:

I have only worn these gloves once so far, so I can not speak to the long term durability of them.

I can say they are very comfortable, fit well (sizing was normal, same size as all my other gloves). They vent through the palm, which is nice and keeps my hands from getting too hot. This is often a problem for other gloves. I start off wearing them, then end up carrying them after they turn into a sauna. With these gloves they keep my hands warm, but not too warm.

I hope they last a long time.

Comments about Pulse Lite Glove II:

I previously owned the Pulse Lite I gloves and loved them. When I mysteriously lost one of the gloves during travel and had to buy a new pair, I naturally bought the Pulse Lite II. Needless to say I am disappointed.

                1. The design is vastly inferior to the previous Pulse Lite I. The first design allowed you to slip your thumb out of a pocket like hole to use your bare thumb on a smart phone. This feature was the biggest reason why I re-ordered the gloves, but to my shock it is no longer part of the design. The material on the finger touch (index finger) is also inferior doesn't allow you to touchpad/smartphone work as well either.

                2. Cheaper design and workmanship. Brooks has clearly sacrificed on the design complexity, stitching, and overall product (probably for picking up extra profit margin on the product). They removed the elastic wristband (not such a big deal), removed the stitched BROOKS brand and logo work and instead use cheap decal-like sticker material which inevitably comes off after any legitimate use.

                3. Material is still pretty good, though feels a little cheaper (but that may just be me). It is still elegant and attractive looking, but not as good as Pulse I.

Brooks is known for quality and I am avid buyer of all types of Brooks gear (jackets, pants, gloves, shirts). But they didn't just take a step backwards on these gloves, it was a leap.

Comments about Pulse Lite Glove II:

love how this glove fits! I have small hands and there does not seem to have excess material.

I would like for the palm to have a little bit of a grip to it.
