I bought this shorts on sales, I was hesitated to make the purchase after reading the negative reviews, but I still gave it a try, and I'm glad I did it. I love it short, but not too short. It's very cute, I got many compliments wearing it. Only cons are the inner layer is kinda heavy, when you run with sweats, it gets heavier. The waist line runs big, I got Small, I usually wearing US4-6, and I have to use the string to tighten it up, but it's not way too big, so I deal with it. The material is a bit stiff, I have washed few times, it softens a little bit, but it doesn't rub my skin though.
I wish it dries quicky, I wore it for a half marathon last sunday; I didn't change after 30-45mins hanging out there, and then I hopped on my friend's car, I was so embrassed when I took off the car to see the water mark from my butt on the seat, luckily, it isn't leather seat... ;(

I bought these shorts because I wanted something a little reflective for early morning runs. The shorts are very comfortable (love the waistband and pockets!) and cute. However two huge negatives: 1. The price- $75 for a pair of shorts?! Definitely NOT worth that much $$. Maybe worth $35 but not $75. 2. The length- I wear other 3.5 inch shorts but these seem even shorter. I bought size small (5'3"/ 117 lbs for reference)and the size fits fine- but they are just so short. I would never want to wear these to the gym or even run into the store to get something after a run. I just got them but I think I'm going to be sending them back.

Bought these for running. Inseam says 3.5 inches, but I'm pretty sure it's way shorter than that. I have another pair of running shorts that say the inseam is 3.0 inches, and they're about 2 inches longer than these.

They really are adorable and very reflective. They're also very comfortable from what I could tell (I didn't run in them - just tried them on). If only they were a couple of inches longer!

Tried these shorts on when I got them, and they were enormous. I am 5'7" and 125-130lb, but I have hips and full thighs. Went with a medium instead of small, because the size chart said I should. It fit ok I'm the liner part but the waist was too big. Even with the drawstring yanked tight there was no way they'd stay on for a run. Plus the fabric was very thick. I have several pairs of Brooks Equilibrium shorts but these fell flat.

Cute shorts, I like the wide waist band. But the front seam chaffing is pretty bad. I only ran 3 miles and one thigh was actually bleeding from the chaffing. I like the concept, but it needs some tweaking.

I purchased these shorts in January 2014 when they came out. I LOVE them! They quickly became my favorite spring/summer/early fall running shorts. I didn't like the original price of $75 but now you can find them cheaper. I purchased the same shorts in the reflective pink and fog too (which looks white to me). I am SO happy I bought these and will buy a back up black pair in case mine get ruined.

Comments about PureProject 3.5" Reflective S:

I don't know why more shorts don't have the vents in the front. As a distance runner, I've got muscular quads and I don't have that long skinny build of a runner. I'm more of a medium sized runner, so having shorts that don't make my legs look like pre-wrapped sausages is awesome. The waistband is about a half size larger than it needs to be (at least it is for me, and I'm pretty hippy) but there's a pullchord so that helps a lot. I've got two pair of these shorts, and I'm really glad that I have them. Highly recommended.

Super cute on. Very comfortable, they almost feel like your running with nothing on. Due to the length and flares, it is a short that you would want to wear if you have fit legs. If that is your problem area, then you may want to look at another short.
