Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

Very comfortable but I got the size medium and it's a bit large. All my best shorts are from Brooks and are mediums. These just run large. If you are on the lower side of medium then I suggest getting the smalls

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

I use these shorts primarily for running. I am always on the lookout for reasonably priced running shorts and when I saw these on sale on the brooks website I decided to try them-very happy with my purchase.
also I love that these shorts are not as tight around the waist. I have more of an hourglass shape than some runners and these fit my hips really comfortably without being too big elsewhere.

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

I bought several pairs of these in XS and find them to be extremely lightweight and comfortable. One can cinch the drawstring to make them feel "smaller" if need be (they have a wide waistband). Even some of the drawstrings have two-toned colors (fun!). I like the color they bring to my running wardrobe (midnight/brite pink is my favorite - be sure to look closely at the "trim" colors, as sometimes it's not evident what they are till you receive them...).

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

I loved these shorts when I put them on- lightweight, extremely comfortable, very flattering. I'm 5'8", 135lbs and the small is perfect. Only complaint about the construction is a gel is a bit too big for the inner pockets- I can stuff it in there, but the edge of the gel packet sticks out a bit. Didn't bother me too much, but I'd prefer a back zipper pocket.

I wore these on a 14 miler and had no trouble. However, I then wore them at a half marathon on a warm day- because my legs were a bit sweaty these rode up on my inner thighs from the first mile. I kept pulling them down, but they rode up the entire time and I ended up with 4 sq inches on each inner thigh with no skin when I finished due to the extreme chafing. Had to take 4 days off from running after the race to let it heal :(

I think they might be ok on shorter runs when I'm not too sweaty, but I won't chance them again for races. Pretty disappointed, since I love the way they look.

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

I absolutely love these shorts. They sit low and the waistband is not at all restrictive, which gives me the confidence to run in just these and a sports bra in hot weather. Like some of the other reviewers, I found that these run about 1/2 to one size large. I am 5'6", 125 lbs, and have 36" hips; I needed size XS.

Flattering shorts, very comfortable and lightweight, but the fit is a little too large and the drawstring is hard to adjust. I'm 5'7" and 115 lbs, size S was too big, but rolling over the waistband helps a little.

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

This is my absolute favorite pair of running shorts. They're light weight, comfortable, casual.
I'm writing this review after buying a pair, loving them, and I'm coming back to the site to buy more!
I would have to agree with previous comments that they fit SLIGHTLY bigger, but I think this style adds to the comfort. I still stuck with the same size I usually order. They don't rub on long runs. They hang nicely from my hips and don't "poof" out like other running shorts I have had. They have a sporty fit and are very flattering.

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

I am very picky when it comes to the fit of my running shorts. I tried on over 10 pairs (maybe more) of running shorts this year. The only one I purchased was this one. The waist band is great, sits right on my hips, doesn't slide up. I am on here to buy a couple more, as my local stores only carry a few colors.

Comments about Epiphany 3.5" Stretch Short 3:

The removal of the elastic waist band creates a too big feel. I have to tie it up VERY tight to feel comfortable. I wear a small and that was always a perfect fit. The small now fits way too big. I tried the XS and it was too restricting.
