I love this running skirt. The shorts underneath did not ride up, even during my 10 mile run. The length is perfect, mid thigh (I'm 5'4"). The material is very lightweight and moves with you.

My only complaint is the lack of drawstring. I love the wide waistband but I prefer the security of having a drawstring to make sure it stays up.

I've gained a little weight training for my 3rd half marathon, I've "downgraded" from running intervals to race-walking from knee issues... I was a true size Medium before, and now at 5'8", 154 lbs, thought I'd be a Large. Um, nope. The hips on the skirt and length in a Large are perfect, but the waist is enormous and the shorts underneath have way too much room in the front right where you bend your legs when running. Afraid that'll cause chafing due to the bagging of the shorts. Going to order a Medium and do a quick compare/contrast. As it's fall I'm going to wear compression capris under the skirt anyway. :-)

    Comments about Glycerin Skort:

Based on the reviews, I ordered a small. I'm 5'7" 125lbs but carry my weight in my thighs. I usually wear a medium or a size 6, but the small was the way to go. The waistband is a perfect fit and I do think any bigger would have made it floppy.

I wore the skirt twice so far, once on a warm day and once on a rainy day. Both runs were successes. The silicone grippers do help minimize ride-up, but I will say that the shorts do still ride up. Unlike other running skirts though, they stop before things get uncomfortable or embarrassing.

The overall feel will take some getting used to I think, as the tight leg openings/silicone grippers were noticable, but not in an unpleasant way. And, despite the heat and the rain, there was no chafing and the skirt is such that I didn't have to worry about showing my rear to strangers. (I also wonder if I just don't have the build for this skirt).

    Overall well constructed and comfortable.

Great quality skirt. The thicker waistband is very flattering and stays in place well when running. It's a bit shorter than I expected, but overall I love it.

I love this running skirt, especially the grippers on the legs that keep the shorts from riding up. The skirt is so comfy and really cute. I will wear this skirt during my next half marathon. I'm 5'5" and 135 lbs and a size medium is perfect.

          Comments about Glycerin Skort:

I absolutely love this skirt. First, the grip around the shorts keep them in place and keep my thighs from rubbing when I run. The fit is perfect - not too tight, not too long (I hate that when I run), and the material is really light weight. The zipper pocket in the back is great for credit cards and gel packs. The ONLY downside is that one of my skirts quickly developed two holes in the seam of the shorts underneath. I had only worn it once and it was really disappointing. I have 4 of these skirts, and only one has had that issue. The rest have held up beautifully through lots of wear and washing. I would highly recommend this skirt!

            Comments about Glycerin Skort:

I purchased this skort for 1 reason, to avoid thigh chafing during my longer runs. Currently training for my 6th half marathon and had my 1st experience with thigh chafing during an 8 miler, NOT plesant. I normally purchase small but have gained 10# and I'm not accustomed to my thighs rubbing. I like the longer short/liner to prevent chafing, but I wish it had compression. I'm 5'6" 135# and the Medium is less than snug. I carry my weight evenly through my belly, hips & thighs. The skort received many compliments at my last race. If you want compression, this is NOT the skort for you.
