I run with these pants when the temp dips down in the low 30's and below. I have taken them to 14 degrees without a base layer underneath and could probably go colder. In my experience they block cold wind up to 25 mph with ease and are very comfortable on the run and afterwards. I really do not like being cold so these pants save me. I have washed them several times now and have not noticed any color fading or shrinkage. My only complaint is not having a matching jacket with the same specs and color so I could look cool too.

Ride low, not a good fit for 5' 4"

I'm 5'4". The legs are too long. Because these ride low, there's no way to compensate by pulling them up. I wear these when the temperature is below 30 F.

The pants are comfortable and warm (enough for low-20s weather). The pockets is just a little too small for my iPhone 5S; can't zip. Otherwise, love them!
