Additional Information

Fresh out of charm school, the newest Adrenaline is smoother and smarter than any other. This time we amped up the velvety goodness of the Segmented Crash Pad by adding full ground contact for a crazy nice heel-to-toe transition. Brooks DNA provides adaptable cushioning so your feet will glide through every turn. Heading upstairs, new lacing design evens out lace pressure to create a snug fit, and 3D Fit Print adds a lightweight, flexible, no-stitch fit. With fresh looks and lines, this go-to shoe is ready to fly. The creme de la creme of support, cushion, and balance is the Adrenaline GTS 14.

But don’t take our word for it: Runner’s World Magazine named the Adrenaline GTS 14 "Editor’s Choice" in the Winter Shoe Guide in their December 2013 issue, saying the shoe "boasts all the trappings of a traditional stability model, but rides as smooth as ever.” The editors also praised the GTS’s cushioning, saying it "hits the sweet spot" and is "soft enough for high-mileage training but firm enough to remain stable."

I love these shoes!!! I am an avid runner, I run half and full marathons and I also run cross country for my school. In addition, I attend spin class once a week, and lift weights three to four times a week, and these shoes are perfect for them all! I suffer from severe pronation, that has led to stress fractures, and these shoes help immensely with that! They are the only shoe that I have found that is enough support to help with my pronation, but that does not give me painful blisters! Like I said above, I have suffered from stress fractures due to running, and my doctor said that because of my over pronation, I am prone to get more stress fractures, and as long as I have had these shoes, I have not had any problems!! Fingers crossed! These shoes are also very sturdy, and after 500 miles, the soles still look very good and stable! I am on my 5th or 6th pair of Brooks Adrenaline, and I love them! I wear them with cheap arch supports that I bought at the drug store that I have been using for about 4 years, along with nice, thick running socks, and I am so pleased. Not to get too off topic, but I have found that good, quality, thick running socks are sometimes just as important as good running shoes. I definitely recommend investing in good running socks. Anyways, I absolutely love these shoes, and have no complaints. I run both on trails, road, and treadmills, and they are perfect for all surfaces. These shoes are great for speed workouts and distance runs. My only complaint, is that there are other shoes significantly cuter than these, but I can't really complain because these shoes have kept my running and healthy! As long as Brooks stays the same, or improves, I will always buy Brooks Adrenaline! I am so impressed! Many of my teammates and fellow runners swear by these shoes also!

While I decided to keep this shoe, I have to say that I am sorely disappointed in the changes Brooks has been making. First, the color selection has become more and more gaudy each year. I used to have a pair of silver and white Adrenalines that had dark purple and pink ACCENTS rather than being covered in garish colors that look like a shoe for teens. I also have noticed that the quality is going downhill fast, as the mesh does not feel or look durable and there are no longer holes for the laces. REALLY??? You had to go and put a cheap piece of polyester or nylon tape in place of the lace holes???!! I am seriously considering looking into another brand of running shoes if things do not change here.

      Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I have been running in the books adrenaline for years. I tried several different brands of shoes when I started running and once I found the adrenaline, it is all I have worn. I have a long narrow foot and the narrow in the adrenaline fit great. My one complaint is the color choices, especially for the narrow. I hate that every year I purchase several pairs of these shoes as I go through them and I have to wear the same color for the whole year because there is only one color choice in narrow. Also the color combinations on the shoe could be better. I would love to have the neon pink and turquoise but it doesn't come in narrow. Please offer more choices to those of us with narrow or wide feet!

I've been running 5km to half marathons for over 7 years and my FAVORITE RUNNING SNEAKERS are my BROOKS Adrenaline or Glycerin style. I bought these new ADRENALINE GTS 14 this year & I can't say enough good about them. I am training for my FIRST MARATHON and these new bright pink powergirls are my most FAVORITE RUNNING SNEAKERS YET!!!! They will bring me to cross that finish line I'm sure! You won't be disappointed, I want another pair! <3

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

I have owned too many pairs of the Adrenaline to count. I have tried other running shoes, including other offerings by Brooks, but I keep returning to the Adrenaline. I have custom orthotics and before finding this shoe struggled with comfort while running. Nothing is worse than uncomfortable shoes! Now, no issues.

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

This shoe was recommended by Prevention Magazine as ideal for high-milage fitness walkers, which is what I am (a fast four miles each day). The first pair was too narrow, and I appreciated Brook's free return/exchange programme very much. The second pair fit well but just are not providing that ball-of-the-foot cushioning that a $120 shoe ought to. Having worn them three days, I feel badly I can't return them, as my soles are beginning to hurt.

        Comments about Adrenaline GTS 14:

The shoe fits my foot well, gives great support and I love that one colorway comes in narrow. But I'm not 13 and I hate - HATE - the color choice. Really??? pink, fuschia and day-glo orange? Who came up with this? I wear these to exercise daily in but also at work where I am on my feet and moving all day. I can't wear these there, and am embarrassed to wear them while exercising.
