I bought Ravenna 5 in purple and I love it! As someone who goes with the best shoe regardless of appearance, it is exciting to get the "cuteness factor" to boot! I used to have many foot and lower leg problems, but I haven't had any running related injuries while wearing the Ravenna (3 years). I am a long distance runner and I believe having the right shoe is absolutely necessary for bio-mechanics and injury prevention.

      Comments about Ravenna 5:

I use these shoes to run on pavement and trails. These shoes just melt on my feet and conform so well that I forget I have shoes on while I am running. I first got the Ravenna 4 at a local store and feel in love with them so much that I wore them all the time, so I figured it was time to get a pair of shoes just for running and I was pointed to these after trying Brooks Shoe Advisor. These are not good for running on trails after or during a rain as they let in a lot of water but that is the only con I have so fat. I They breathe very well, I never have sweaty feet no matter what the temp is outside. They are overall a great shoe and will continue to purchase them as long as they are made. Thank you Brooks for making a great shoe!

        Comments about Ravenna 5:

I'm new to running, and the other shoes I had were cheapo ones until I realized that I love to run and needed a good shoe. I was fitted for a few shoes and ended up with this. So comfortable, and it certainly doesn't hurt that the pink and grey is cute. I've run about 100 miles on them on roads or sidewalk like tracks, and they're still comfortable. They hug the back of my ankle and help me feel supported. I have an insert in them because I have a bad knee, but even before that they were comfortable. I just needed a little more support.

        Comments about Ravenna 5:

I used the shoe fit tool to find a pair of Brooks that would be similar to the shoes I used to wear (Mizuno Wave Inspire, was very disappointed with the 10 after having such a great experience with the 9 so decided to switch to Brooks). Unfortunately the fit was much narrower than expected and it looked like the fabric on the inside would wear very quickly because of this so I had to return the shoes.

          Comments about Ravenna 5:

The Ravenna line has been heaven-sent for me. I pronate with my right foot and land neutral with my left. Finding shoes that give enough support for my right side without aggravating the left was tough, that is until I was pointed toward the Ravennas. I ran in the Ravenna 4's and loved them and just purchased the 5's. I've put about 50 miles on the new model and love them so far. They disappear on my feet which is what a good shoe should do. They have a nice mix of cushion and response. I've worn them mostly on asphalt and concrete, and they don't leave my feet and legs feeling beat up. I've worn them on trails and they've performed well. My feet were secure in the shoe and I had good traction on the dirt. The upper is holding up well so far, but I am getting some wear in the forefoot area.

            Comments about Ravenna 5:

I've never reviewed anything in my life but I decided to review these shoes. Simply put, they are the best things ever. I am a high school athlete and these shoes lasted me two years and 3 seasons of field hockey, indoor and outdoor track. They are great for running because of the great impact cushioning.
