The luxury begins with an ultra-comformable upper that uses innovative 3D Fit Print overlays to create structure and reduce weight. We've also removed the midfoot shank to optimize ground contact for a transition that puts the "oo" in smooth. Finished with fresh colors and hot looks, Mr. Belvedere's got nothing on this shoe.

I love this shoe! I am in love with the PureProject line, but I wanted something with a little more cushion for those super long marathon training runs. I was surprised at how light this shoe is for how much cushioning is involved. They are also a really smooth and quiet shoe. It just comfortable all around! I love these shoes so much I convinced my husband to get a pair as well.

I run marathons (sub 4) and half marathons (sub 2). I was a huge fan of the Glycerin 10. When the Glycerin 11 came out, I tried it out and it just fell flat. It does not have the same supportive feel of the 10s because the midfoot shank was removed. Unfortunately, in removing this part, they also removed the responsiveness of the shoe and it feels like you are running on dough. This change caused me to buy every last Glycerin 10 on the market and also try out the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 3, which is more similar to the Glycerin 10. Hopefully, they will reintroduce support in the Glycerin 12 model before I swear Brooks off forever.

        Comments about Glycerin 11:

I was sold this shoe as a neutral running shoe because I have very flat feet and very low arches. I run about six miles a day and cannot run in these shoes at all. They dig into the bottom of my feet and make it very uncomfortable. I love the Ghost's but these were a waste of a lot of money.

          Comments about Glycerin 11:

I was an avid lover of the Glycerin 10s so when mine wore out and I couldn't locate them in my size, I opted for the 11s. Big mistake. I should have listened to the reviews from other 10s lovers. I'm not sure what it is, but this style of the Glycerin fits less like a neutral shoe and more like the Adrenalines and changed the way I step during my runs. I got through 2 runs and 8 miles on these before I had to stop because of knee pain that would not allow me to continue my run. Very disappointed because I wanted to love these but I am now 3 weeks from a half marathon and I'm unable to log the distance that I need. I never had an issue in the glycerin 10s nor any of the previous Ghosts. The only reason I didn't opt for the Ghosts this time is because they wear out much faster than the glycerins. I will be returning these.

          Comments about Glycerin 11:

I bought this product after mizuno stopped making the shoe I loved! I liked this shoe because it is not stiff at all, no need to break in. The cushion and arch support is great. And they were not tight on the top of my foot. I love the pink color and the reviews for this shoe have been great so I thought I made a good decision buying them. Well after my first run in them, about 6 miles, my right big toe was killing me! When I took my shoe off I had a hole in my sock and a huge blister! I notice on shorter runs I get a blister but no more pain and no hole in sock. But a week later on another long run I took my shoe off to discover another hole in my sock! I didn't have another another blister so maybe I'm just getting a callus but I really hope it stops putting holes in my socks! I can't afford new socks every week!

            Comments about Glycerin 11:

I have only used my new Glycerin 11 a few times, but I am already in love with them. They are super comfortable, with lots of room for toes, feel lightweight and very cushiony. I absolutely love the color I got (pink), a big improvement over my old blue Glycerin 10. I use them for street and flat surface trail running (dry or wet), but would switch to trail shoes for any wet or muddy hilly trail run. Definitely will keep using Glycerin in the future!
