Think of the Glycerin 11 as your foot's butler, catering to your every want and need with plush, conformable comfort in every step. The luxury begins with an ultra-comformable upper that uses innovative 3D Fit Print overlays to create structure and reduce weight. We've also removed the midfoot shank to optimize ground contact for a transition that puts the "oo" in smooth. Finished with fresh colors and hot looks, Mr. Belvedere's got nothing on this shoe.

I love this shoe! I am in love with the PureProject line, but I wanted something with a little more cushion for those super long marathon training runs. I was surprised at how light this shoe is for how much cushioning is involved. They are also a really smooth and quiet shoe. It just comfortable all around! I love these shoes so much I convinced my husband to get a pair as well.

I run marathons (sub 4) and half marathons (sub 2). I was a huge fan of the Glycerin 10. When the Glycerin 11 came out, I tried it out and it just fell flat. It does not have the same supportive feel of the 10s because the midfoot shank was removed. Unfortunately, in removing this part, they also removed the responsiveness of the shoe and it feels like you are running on dough. This change caused me to buy every last Glycerin 10 on the market and also try out the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 3, which is more similar to the Glycerin 10. Hopefully, they will reintroduce support in the Glycerin 12 model before I swear Brooks off forever.

I'm new to Brooks, but am a fan of the shoe after 7 months. I just bought my second pair and love them.

          Comments about Glycerin 11:

I used to work at a shoe store for 2 1/2 years and Brooks were by far our best selling athletic shoes. Definitely a step above the rest. I could instantly tell a huge difference in support between my Glycerin's and my Nikes. I don't think I'll ever by a different brand of running shoes again.

          Comments about Glycerin 11:

I have only worn glycerin's to run in and this pair just didn't cut it. They felt tight, not as comfortable and rubbed at the ankles. I had to send back. I will definetly buy another pair but probably the 12's. I put recommend to a friend because I truly love the glycerin's.

              Comments about Glycerin 11:

I have 3 pair of the Glycerin 11. I tried the Glycerin 12 but went back to the 11. They have a wide toe box and narrow heel and fit me perfectly. I love the cushion. It is by far the best sports shoe I have purchased. I wear orthotics and this shoe is perfect with them.
