Additional Information

The light, bouncy, and balanced ride of the Ghost has haunted the dreams of many competitors -- and it's about to get frighteningly good. We've taken the transition from silky to ridiculously smooth by removing the midfoot shank and creating full ground contact from heel to toe. The underfoot gets even more love with a horseshoe Segmented Crash Pad that wraps the heel from medial to lateral sides and articulates the laydown. What does all that mean? Looking as good as it feels, you'll fall in love with this friendly ghost.

We’re not the only people who have fallen in love: Runner’s World® named the Ghost 6 "Editor’s Choice" in the Fall Shoe Guide in their September 2013 issue… the fourth straight Ghost to earn the honor. They called out the new forefoot overlays welded on rather than stitched, but really loved “how fluidly the shoe rolls from heel-strike to toe-off." In short, the Ghost 6 offers "a sweet balance of weight, cushioning, and everyday durability" – and the editors say "The lightest Ghost we've seen leaves nothing out." Can you say "Four-peat"? Spooky good.

Love the Ghost but hate running in the rain? The Ghost 6 GTX is also available. Everything you love about the Ghost, but with a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable. No more blaming it on the rain!

My first review on these shoes was that they were too firm. While I still would like to see them a bit more cushioned, I have to say after using them for months they have become my favorite. The fit and feel of the shoe is very good. They have a bouncy feel to them. They also have good flexibility and are light on your feet. Don't think I've had a shoe that fits my foot any better, and I've ran in 20+ different kinds. I even reach for them first when I looking for a causal shoe to wear. The workmanship of this shoe is better than most. They seem really well built. Highly recommend them!

The fit and feel of this shoe is good. The problem I have with it is that it's to firm on impact for my liking. I currently run in it and the Saucony Triumph 10. The Triumph has a much softer feel on impact than the Ghost. The Ghost however in most other areas outshines the Triumph. I just wish it had a softer feel on impact. Perhaps that's just a personal preference, but I like my cushioned shoes to feel softer. Wish it was as soft as the Triumph, hands down it be the better shoe.

I have had chronic knee problems and it was hard cor me to find the right shoe. I got fitted at a local running store and I got paired up with the brook ghost 6. I had always heard of brooks being a quality running shoes but had never owned a pair. These shoes are great I have put hundreds of miles on them and they didn't fall apart at all. Very reliable shoes with great support and comfort. I was so satisfied I bought another pair because I enjoyed my first pair so much. I run atleast 4 times a week and put in about 40 miles a week so I have a lot of experience with this shoe.

I've been through several shoes the last 3 years since I've started running and these feel like nothing else. In fact, they feel like I'm wearing NOTHING! They are comfortable with a perfect fit and are helping to improve my plantar faciitis pain. They are light, quiet, soft without sacrificing road feel and control. If they hold up well, then they will be my perfect shoe! =) FINALLY!! =)

Was in a bind the last two weeks without a trail shoe. These have a decent agressive tread so i have been running in them and they have not faired well The rubber is great for roads but to hard for trails and the knobs seem to tear off easily on rocks when running downhill. I have 30 trail miles on them and if i do one more moderate run, they will need retired. Stick to roads where they excel

I feel the need to have different shoes for intervals or tempos.

      Go To Shoe

Decided to switch to the Ghost after wearing out my Glycerins. Not only have I enjoyed training runs in the Ghost 6, but I also competed in them with stellar results. They absorb shock well and are relatively light weight. You can't go wrong with the Ghost or Glycerin. However, the Ghost seemed to feature a better forefoot. I highly recommend this shoe due to its value and fit.
