With lean construction and a responsive fit, the PureCadence 2 rethinks how support technology is engineered. Features like the internal PDRB help prevent overpronation without added parts and the wide Nav Band holds your foot like an endless hug. Add fresh looks and some street cred, and this featherweight friend will run footloose and fancy-free with you.

Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I've ran, sprinted, jogged, jumped, and engaged in HIIT training in all types and brands of shoes. Simply put, this shoe is incredible and far surpasses the competition for all training types.

I noticed an immediate difference on my first run - light, responsive, great arch support that almost hugs your midsole. This shoe's design forces you into your more natural and graceful running form, while offering just enough support for at least a 5'10", 185 pound man, with high arches.

Recently, I tested this shoe for a police physical and my sprinting time was far superior than I have ever accomplished in any prior physical. They felt great during the PT test and I felt great the next day as well.

Try this shoe out and you won't be disappointed.

I'll order the Pure Cadence's again. I love Brooks and I enjoyed this shoes, however, it took me a bit too long to break them in. I prefer the original, first version Pure Cadence's. The shoe's tongue on V.2 was a bit burdensome for me at first. I graduated from the Adrenaline's the the Pure Cadence and V.1 felt like the change I was looking for. V.2 feels a bit like I went backwards to the Adrenaline.

I also like the color of version 1 a bit more. Full on bright colors is preferable, for me, than an awkward mix of colors.

bought these maybe 2 weeks ago and wore them yesterday for a half marathon, ran a new pr of 1:27! great shoe during the race, very comfortable with no impact issues at all..today my legs feel great with no shin, calf, or upper leg soreness to report, which I believe is in heavy respect to the cushioning of the shoe itself. definitely a great running shoe!

I am now in my third pair of the PureCadence 2 shoes. They fit great, are lightweight, and durable in spite of what Brooks is saying. My other pairs are now over 350 miles each and are still comfortable for training and racing with probably another 75-100 miles left in them

I believe the 4 mm heel to toe drop has helped my running efficiency, transforming more into a midfoot striker. As a result, I am faster and more comfortable than I've been in years.

    As for me - 6' 1", 162 lbs 50+ yrs old. 1:38 1/2 marathon PR this year.

There's a lot to like about this shoe. The fit is good. It's light and comfortable. But running in these is too hard on my legs. For me, a traditional running shoes would be better. Also, the nav band feels feels tight when I wear the shoe for long durations. Having said this, I would still recommend this shoe to the right person, but not necessarily everyone.

      I bought them b/c they're black :)

I hate when shoe companies change sizing. But in this case it worked in my favor. The Version 1 size 9's were a tad big (I'm an E width). These now fit me really well.

My only gripe is that they don't work well with speed laces. The tongue gets folded under when trying to put them on.

But overall, I really like them. And they look great in black.

I am a woman who wears a 10 in womens and a 8.5 in mens. I ordered men's because the colors are richer and darker, I'm over all the turquoise, pink and purples. give me deep blues, greens, reds and yellows! I have 3 pure cadence's in mens love them. they carry my body to the finish lines in my marathons.. I tend to pronate a bit and the arch support is wonderful in these shoes. and they are super duper light weight. when I got the box in the mail, felt like it was empty!!

This is my second pair of PureCadence 2 shoes. Brooks shoes work well for me and my run training. I use these on-road, inside, outside, all weather conditions for running. I average 25-30 miles per week while training for triathlons and road race events. This shoe holds up well and has great traction. I really like this shoe and plan to buy another pair myself.

The previous version was great, and Brooks has improved upon it, most of the upper is a single piece, so the tongue does not move around, I've been in Brooks for almost 10 years and each new shoe feels like an old freind when I put it on, with each evolution and iteration they keep the foot fit the same.

The shoes are very lightweight and the sole design is great for running.

The only complaint is the lace structure. Where it ties causes a lot of pain on the top of my feet. Not sure how to avoid this issue.

I am a trail runner at heart, but I needed more time on the treadmill and roads, to keep my mileage up. I was looking for a pair of "roadies" and I found these Brooks. I couldn't be happier (Happy Feet). Excellent fit & feel, even after some extended runs.
