$85.00

Style #100019

The lightweight T7 Racer running shoe is primed to propel your performance to new heights. Built for maximum efficiency, this incredibly light road-racing shoe is the fastest in the pack, with an eye-catching color for fly-by style. The streamlined, asymmetric upper works with the anatomy of the foot to perfectly wrap the arch securely from start to finish.

Available in unisex sizes only. For women, we suggest ordering 1.5 sizes smaller than your usual.

Note: As this running shoe is a very lightweight racing flat, a majority of runners will find its cushioning insufficient for a full marathon. If you have a light frame and an efficient stride, you may be able to give it a try. We suggest racing several half marathons (or longer) to test how the T7 Racer works for you before attempting a full marathon.

An overall great shoe. I am currently on my 26th pair of the T series lightweight runner. The 8.5 fits like a glove without socks and lets you float along during a run. The shoe wears very quickly with the foam tread and the cushioning compacts and fades fast. I use them for overall training and racing but would love the shoe with a more robust tread even if the weight increases a tad.

i got my t7's at my local running store and right off the bat I enjoyed every bit of them besides the side lacing which I quickly grew a custom to.they were my trainers for the track season and they were working fine. like all of my running shoes they got dirty, and sometimes very smelly which as a 15 year old boy i had no problem with. but then at one of my track meets my club coach whom im very close to told me about some cases of runners buying the T7's and only lasting them a month, which at first i didnt believe. then track season ended and i started running my longer distances training for the upcoming xc season and i soon figured out that what my coach said was true. and I felt pushed away from the T7 and to another shoe. i might of gotten a bad batch or something but id like to figure out what went wrong.

Comments about T7 Racer:

The new nightlife/black color scheme looks great. Unfortunately, Brooks moved the manufacturing of this year's model/color to Vietnam (previously made in China). I say unfortunate because the sole isn't as soft as the previous versions (pre-2015). I would say subjectively, the midsole is about 15-20% firmer than the ones made in China. I am not sure if this was an intentional design change or a manufacturing variation but I have tried several pairs of the nightlife/black versions and each one has felt consistently firmer than the pre-2015 versions. The upper volume has also shrunk down slightly which makes for a tighter fit which can be a plus or negative depending on how the previous year's model fit your feet. For me, they now cut up sides of my feet near the toes due to the switching whereas before, I had a perfect fit. They used to be the most cushioned, comfortable, light-weight, responsive half-marathon and down, racing flats on the market with a heel/toe offset that won't strain your calf and Achilles. Now, they are giving me bottom of foot pain and various muscle twinges or aches because the shock absorption from the firmer midsole just isn't up to par with its own former version anymore. Please bring back the old, softer midsole! You guys had a perfect shoe! (typically run 70+mpw and use this shoe as a daily trainer on dirt roads, track work longer than 5 miles and all road racing).

Comments about T7 Racer:

I love the look of this model, but they're very uncomfortable. I ordered my normal size which I bought in another model of Brooks last time and they were too small. I had to order a half size larger and they are still tight (narrow). There is not much cushion in the toe area either. I loved my last pair of Ravennas and get lots of complements on how cool these shoes look, but I wish they were more comfortable!

    Comments about T7 Racer:

I bought these in preparation for a marathon I'm running in September. I was looking for a lightweight trainer that I could run tempo runs in, compete in, and didn't break the budget. These hit my every need. They fit great (I wear a 9.5 in the Ravenna 5's, and ordered a 9.5 in these) and they fit perfect. They feel great and I can't wait to race in them!

These shoes look Awesome. That's where the good review stops. I followed the sizing info, and wear other Brooks Shoes. But this particular pair run small and narrow. The tread on these things are slick, too. Horrible! These did not fit or feel like any other pair of Brooks I have owned. Shipping back today.

Too new to rate accurately, other than they are very comfortable. I do worry that the size will be short for distances of 5+ miles.

So far its a good shoe. I like its lightness and glove like feel on my foot. No soreness or rubbing seems inside the shoe. 5k to 10k is good. The true test will be the next half marathon.
