Very hard for me to find a wide enough walking shoe for my size feet (almost as wide as they are long). Plus I have flat feet and high arches. Absolutely am able to get more exercise in comfort with my Brooks. The velcro closure allows me to adjust the fit when my feet swell. Hey, we all get old and want to still get out and walk as much as we can. Love my Brooks

The Addiction Walker is the only shoe I wear. I tried the V-Strap because I go tired of lacing and unlacing my shoes everytime I had to put my snow boots on. I am glad I did!

Am elderly and heavy so the velcro is my salvation. I wear these shoes all the time. I do not take exercises, like walking or running. I am very careful on wet pavement, I've slipped a couple of times. Soles need to be more non-slippery. Other wise I live in these shoes.

Keep the moisture out - very sturdy.

As someone who has bad feet with pronation, this is the best shoe that I have found. The design is not attractive and the instep is too wide with short velcro straps that go across when you have to insert an orthotic. I get the wide width and it's perfect for me. This shoe has saved me from a lot of a pain. Just wish it was more attractive and that the tongue of the shoe would be covered more when the velcro comes across.

I purchased these Addiction Walkers for my daughter who has orthotics and horrible calluses on her feet. She seems to walk more comfortably in them...which is huge for her. The more comfortable, the more potential for her to want to exercise (because it won't be as painful!).

My podiatrist strongly recommended Addictions 2-1/2 years ago for my pronation. In combination with my orthotics, these shoes are the most comfortable and supportive I've ever worn (and at 60, I've tried a few!). I just bought my third pair. Since I "live" in my Addictions, the uppers on the older ones are looking worn, but the support is every bit as good as it was the day I bought them. I can't brag on them enough!
