Last fall I was diagnosed with plantar facitis. I already suffered from arthritis in the knees. I was miserable. I found that I had to sell my 5 speed car and 5 speed truck. After many years of driving I found myself behind the wheel of an automatic. I just about had to quit my job because walking all day hurt way too much. Then I found these wonderful shoes! I still had to order expensive custom orthotics for them. The Addiction 10 is worth every penny, and so are the orthotics. My foot doctor and shoe store told me these are the best shoes available for orthotics. I cannot imagine life without them! Without these shoes I would no longer be able to work! I have worn the same pair of Addiction 10's for 8 months, just about every day of the week, often on double shifts and there is still a lot of life in these shoes! Today I just bought a pair of Addiction Walkers and I can't wait to get them on my feet! Brooks......THANK YOU!

I bought this shoe because I really needed something and the brad I wanted wasn't available locally. I decided to go with the addiction because I have a low to flat arch and trying it on in the store this was definitely the most comfortable of the availble selection.
After wearing them for a month now I have decided that they're not bad, but I liked another brand better. For my personal running style there is too much cushioning in the heal and the shoe feels overly tall. I'm also noting additional strain on the front and sides of my shin which requires additional stretching to relieve discomfort. I will not buy another pair of these shoes.
Additional information: I run approximately an 8 min mile and typical runs last from 2-6 miles 4 or 5 times a week.

After years of wearing the Beast, I decided to try these shoes. To my surprise, I might even like these better than the Beasts I sported for years. The fit is perfect and this shoe is a little less bulky but still provides the support and cushioning I require. It's nice to have a few options!

I run 20-30 miles a week. This has good stability. Helps my ankles. If it had a softer landing I'd give it 4 stars. If it also didn't make my right toe go numb on occasion I would easily give it a five star rating.

I've used Adrenaline and Addiction for many years; will train in and run in a pair for about a year and then get a new pair. I run three days, work with weights three days, so six days a week. Goal is to run one more fun run each year (this year is 13) and to keep lean body mass despite a penchant for pizza.

Just got these Addiction 10's after having minimal success with the Adrenaline 12's. Much better support for my extremely flat feet. The shoe being flat and extra cushioned through the sole makes it great. Mind you, I've only had the shoes for two weeks and have but about ten miles on them. As of right now they are on point.

There aren't too many shoes that are this well suited for a heavy runner (230 lbs) with flat feet. I run 15-20 miles a week and when you weigh as much as I do, all those miles really take their toll. The Addiction 10 provides the cushioning that I need to keep going. The height and weight take some getting used to, but once you are used to it this really is a great shoe.
