Our Runners Have Spoken
Great and not so great
This jacket is cut well and compacts down to fit in its own pocket and with the added elastic band to wrap the stuffed jacket on your arm, it doesn't get in the way once you remove it while running. With that said, I can only wear it for the first mile or less until my body warms up. It doesn't breathe well and has left me soaked. It also doesn't keep moisture out as a rain shell. I've ran in the rain and have been soaked with that as well. Overall, if it had better ventilation I would buy it again but as it stands right now, I would not. Read MoreSizing | Feels true to size |
Let the water in
I tried this jacket on a rainy 50 degree day with a light breeze. After 2 miles I was soaked to the skin and freezing. This jacket is not good for the rain! It is not breathable so I wouldn't wear on a windy day either. Disappointed.

Generally good but I would like the sleeves wider
I was pleased to see this jacket because it's hard to find athletic wear for larger women. I am 5'6" and weigh 206 lb. I will mostly use this for biking and walking. In cooler weather (around 30F) I want to wear this over a sweater and base layer, and it's just marginally large enough everywhere for that. The arms in particular are tight at that point. Also I wish it had a double zipper so you could unzip from the bottom. Finally, it is a lot thinner than my current Brooks bike jacket so I'm wondering how it will hold up. #ReviewSweeps Read MoreSizing | Feels true to size |
Great Running Jacket!
The jacket is perfect for my early morning runs. It's light and comfortable to run in. I live in Chicago and we get some nasty winds, this jacket has kept me warm during some of those gusts and it's waterproof. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that I wish it had front zipper pockets. There is one pocket in the back which is great, I just like mine in the front. I'd buy it again! #ReviewSweeps

This jacket worked so good
I ddi the Spartan Beast in Tahoe this past weekend. It was very windy and a tade chilly. But 2 of the obstacles require me yo go completely into the water that is about 34'. This jacket saved my race. I was able to put on over my wet shirt and did not feel the chill from the cold breeze on the top of Squaw valley mountains. This jacket was perfect and compact to tuck away.
