    Gets the job done

    2017/03/23 | Portland, OR |

Bought this for running. You can wear this over a layer that is warmer for cold weather, or a T on warm but wet/windy days. I like that. Yes, ventilation is a problem, you will get sweaty. If it's cold out, make sure you don't stay outside for too long after your run in this. But the cuts on the sides are high enough that I don't get overheated. The sleeves are a bit too short for me. I'm 5' 7" and 135lb got a M. Still looks nice, got the white. Also, if you're planning to throw your phone or keys in that side pocket, it will bounce around too much on a run.

    Yes, I would recommend this!

    My favorite topper

    2016/07/31 | Atlanta, GA |

I have 5 or 6 of these jackets and I REALLY love them! I'm a trail runner. I love how soft & lightweight they are. I use them for rain runs or If there's a chill in the air. I wear 4's, ordered a small & it was a perfect fit everywhere. Highly recommended, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about them. They're a runners 'must have' layer.

    Can't wait to wear it!

    2016/06/14 | Wisconsin |

I read the reviews before purchasing so I knew there was the potential of this jacket running small so I ordered a medium and a large and am glad I did. The large fits perfectly, so I sent the medium back. I have other running jackets that are not waterproof, so I am excited (I think) about the performance of this jacket. I really don't like to run in the rain, but I do when I have to. I have not had the opportunity yet. It has a very flattering fit. In addition, with sizing up, I can wear a long sleeve shirt under and have plenty of room.

    Saved Me

Bought this for Lincoln half when rain was predicted. It saved me from being soaked on a very rainy and cool half marathon.

    Great, but lacks breathability

    2016/05/12 | Oklahoma City, OK |

I love everything about this jacket, except the lack of vents to make it breathable. It's the perfect length, it's lightweight and is an outstanding windbreaker. It has a trim fit, and it's quite pretty for a jacket. Unfortunately, it is not breathable AT ALL, and leaves you drenched in sweat in very short order. I bought it when I was training to walk a half marathon this spring, and even just walking it's too hot within about 3 miles. Fortunately, it's lightweight and not cumbersome to carry. A vent in the back or pits would make this jacket perfect.

    Great Jacket

    2016/04/27 | St. Louis, MO |

Very happy with this jacket, great design and material. I usually wear it for the first mile and then take it off after I'm warmed up. I thought it would annoy me to wear the pouch for the rest of my run, but it's so light, that I barely notice it.

    Fantastic compact rain jacket

    2016/04/20 | Ann Arbor, MI |

My favorite thing about this jacket is that you can put in a bag that's smaller than my hand and de-layer on the go. It's a great outer layer for running in the rain or if you think you might get caught in a storm. That being said it's not the top-of-the-line rain jacket offering from Brooks, and it shows. It could be more breathable, but isn't horrible. Pretty good for the price. I go back and forth between wishing it had a hood. It would be nice for any other time you wear it beyond exercising, but I imagine a hood would be really annoying while running.

    Terribly Disappointed

    2016/03/23 | Opal, Virginia |

I was so excited to see this go on sale at 30% off! I had been looking at them for quite awhile. It arrived and was light, packable in it's own pocket, nice strap to use when running. I had a run, 45°, drizzle, and within 15 minutes it was soaked, I was soaked with sweat, cold. Bad idea. After removing it, I never did dry out. I put it back on after my run, and it clung unforgivingly, not allowing my body to breathe. I returned this. I now have a cycling jacket that is breathable and perfect.
