Handwashing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

    Holy Grail Combination

    2017/06/12 | Dallas, TX |

Truthfully, I wear the embody everyday all day all day! But how do I use it as a sports bra? (I am a 28HH in Freya, Curvy Kate and Panache bras). I need to wear a Shock Absorber Multi-Sport Max in 30HH or my Shock Absorber Ultimate Run bra in 32 G over the top of my Brooks Moving Comfort, Embody 32 G. This combination gives me "a-ha-ha-ha 100 % bounce-free, ultra-supreme supportive, rock-star RUN a marathon bra! But, I can also get similar results by layering the Shock Absorber Multi-sport max 30HH with the Shock Absorber Ultimate RUN bra in 32 G. It just depends on how long I will run for. Or if I am going to the gym to do HITT cardio and or weight lifting. BRAVO BROOKS MOVING COMFORT EMBODY!! I absolutely love Brooks Moving Comfort and Shock Absorber sports bras for my 28HH chest.

    Yes, I would recommend this!

Feels great, but sizes run very small.

For being an EE, this was way too small. Ordering another size.

    So many things wrong

    2017/05/12 | Fresno,CA |

I was very excited that there was a "pretty" bra for women my size(34G), however, it was a big disappointment. First, its too small, my other 34G bras are perfect. Next the clasp for the strap, I have to gracefully put this on otherwise the strap slips out of the clasp, kinda irritating for a sports bra. Lastly and most important the inside is designed in such a way that the sewing seams REALLY HURT! This is the last bra I pick each week for the gym and sometimes I decide I'd rather not workout than wear this bra. Brooks, I love you that you make bras for my size, especially since I love to run, but you really miss the buck on this bra.

A great mid-low impact bra for a large chested girl.

    2017/04/18 | North Bergen, NJ |

This bra fits smaller than the Maia. I'm an E in the Maia, but a G in this one, so the cup is sized smaller. I like that the straps are fully adjustable and convertible without totally sacrificing cushioning, and the thin foam lining in the cup is fantastic at elliminating nipple show. I'm not the biggest fan of the seam lines all over the front of the bra; a smooth cup would be more natural looking over clothes. Overall, it's a nice bra for a moderate workout. The straps have too much stretch to tackle the bounce of a larger chest and/or a high-impact workout. With better straps, this would be a fantastic bra.

    Overall Great Support

    2017/03/10 | Crystal Lake, IL |

Overall this is a good quality bra with great support. The only issue is it is very difficult to put on by yourself. You either need someone to close the back for you or you have to put it over your head. But once you get it on the fit is great and very supportive for high impact activities like running or plyometrics.

too small. bra cup might be fine but...

    2017/03/09 | Buffalo, NY |

The bra cups might fit but the entire bra was made for a smaller person and I had to return. Looked nice but because it was too small I could not hook it up. I would recommend to a small build person.

Needs some small adjustments to be great...

    2017/01/26 | TN |

I run an do Crossfit daily and it has been an ultimate struggle to find a sports bra that works for me and makes me feel confident during a workout. I really wanted to love this bra as my usual complaints are either that more compression type bras (Juno etc.) need the underwire support too for larger chested women. Or the underwire sports bras I find supportive, just don't have enough compression to limit the bounce factor (Maia, etc.) No matter how small I get, my chest will not go away (without surgery) and I want to feel comfortable. I love that this bra allows you to wear it racerback/crossback style because I feel more supported that way; however, putting it on that way (without the assistance of another person) is near to impossible. The straps are also a little too stretchy as I find the adjusters slip during a workout. I really think this bra would work if the straps were changed to more of the Juno style, where you could connect them in the front (and the velcros allows for different lengths) and not have the stretchy, adjustable fabric straps it has now. Please consider looking into some improvements because I really do want this to become my favorite as no retailer I've found has the underwire for support/separation AND compression to minimize the moving around. I may be a 36DDD, but I work hard and need a bra that does too!

    Not what I expected

    2017/01/06 | San Antonio, TX |

I have several original Moving Comfort Maia bras, size 34E; gave this bra a try and was disappointed. I ordered a 34F and the cup size was WAY too small, If I try it again will order one and two cup sizes larger to see how they fit. I was also disappointed in the way this one was sewn--it didn't have the smooth lines my old Maia have and didn't sit flat on my sides and back, it was clumsy and bulky looking even a cup size too small. I did not like the color--Gray, very dull and dingy looking. I'll try the new revamped Maia with Brooks logo and see how they compare to the Embody and the old Maia bras.

    meh!

    2016/11/28 | seattle |

I decided to try this bra on a a Rock N Roll expo since my size is a little less common and most stores will not have it in stock without special order. It seemed to fit so I decided to give it a try, believing that Brooks stands behind the products. Like others, I find the lines from the seams to be unattractive.I have also determined that if I wand to use it in the crossed strap mode, it is just as difficult to put on and take off as the Juno was. There is not enough compelling benefit to make me want to keep it, but I have just learned that ALL items purchased at an expo like that are NOT returnable except as an exchange. Needless to say, it will influence how I make those impulse expo decisions in the future and it is a deterant to trying out new products.

Nice to find a supportive sports bra that you don't have to fight to put on and provides low bounce while running.
