Handwashing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

    Overall Great Support

    2017/03/10 | Crystal Lake, IL |

Overall this is a good quality bra with great support. The only issue is it is very difficult to put on by yourself. You either need someone to close the back for you or you have to put it over your head. But once you get it on the fit is great and very supportive for high impact activities like running or plyometrics.

Needs some small adjustments to be great...

    2017/01/26 | TN |

I run an do Crossfit daily and it has been an ultimate struggle to find a sports bra that works for me and makes me feel confident during a workout. I really wanted to love this bra as my usual complaints are either that more compression type bras (Juno etc.) need the underwire support too for larger chested women. Or the underwire sports bras I find supportive, just don't have enough compression to limit the bounce factor (Maia, etc.) No matter how small I get, my chest will not go away (without surgery) and I want to feel comfortable. I love that this bra allows you to wear it racerback/crossback style because I feel more supported that way; however, putting it on that way (without the assistance of another person) is near to impossible. The straps are also a little too stretchy as I find the adjusters slip during a workout. I really think this bra would work if the straps were changed to more of the Juno style, where you could connect them in the front (and the velcros allows for different lengths) and not have the stretchy, adjustable fabric straps it has now. Please consider looking into some improvements because I really do want this to become my favorite as no retailer I've found has the underwire for support/separation AND compression to minimize the moving around. I may be a 36DDD, but I work hard and need a bra that does too!

    Not what I expected

    2017/01/06 | San Antonio, TX |

I have several original Moving Comfort Maia bras, size 34E; gave this bra a try and was disappointed. I ordered a 34F and the cup size was WAY too small, If I try it again will order one and two cup sizes larger to see how they fit. I was also disappointed in the way this one was sewn--it didn't have the smooth lines my old Maia have and didn't sit flat on my sides and back, it was clumsy and bulky looking even a cup size too small. I did not like the color--Gray, very dull and dingy looking. I'll try the new revamped Maia with Brooks logo and see how they compare to the Embody and the old Maia bras.

I decided to try this bra on a a Rock N Roll expo since my size is a little less common and most stores will not have it in stock without special order. It seemed to fit so I decided to give it a try, believing that Brooks stands behind the products. Like others, I find the lines from the seams to be unattractive.I have also determined that if I wand to use it in the crossed strap mode, it is just as difficult to put on and take off as the Juno was. There is not enough compelling benefit to make me want to keep it, but I have just learned that ALL items purchased at an expo like that are NOT returnable except as an exchange. Needless to say, it will influence how I make those impulse expo decisions in the future and it is a deterant to trying out new products.

Great Support For Active Large Busted Women

Nice to find a supportive sports bra that you don't have to fight to put on and provides low bounce while running.

I was very excited to try a new bra in my size (being busty I don't have that much choice)and this bra delivers! I did try a few sizes to make sure I got the right fit for me but ended up wearing my true bra size and it feels great! its perfect for running and gym workouts and I like that I can cross the straps to go under my tanks.

    Very disappointed

    2016/08/15 | Germany |

I am a size E normally and I am now pregnant so wanted to order a larger bra. I took a chance on this one where I normally wear a different Moving Comfort bra. I was highly disappointed. It was smaller than my normal E and I ordered a G. There was also really awkward lines in the middle of the bra. Brooks needs to look at remodeling the cups of this bra. It is terrible.

    Not for high impact

    2016/08/07 | Iowa |

I don't really like the Velcro bra straps on other Brooks sports bras, so I was excited to see "normal" straps on this one. It was OK for low-medium impact activities (TurboFire) but for burpees and high-impact (Insanity) it just didn't work. About half-way through a 45-min kickboxing workout all I could focus on was how much my breasts were bouncing. The straps keep slipping, and since I need them adjusted as short possible, when they start to lengthen during a work out it's really annoying. I usually wear a 34E in regular bras and 32E in Brooks' bras (Juno and Jubralee), but the 32E in this bra was WAY too small so I exchanged it for a 34E which fit, but I will be returning it -- it's too expensive to keep for a low-impact bra. I'll be sticking with Juno, if they ever get my size in stock.

not even close to being up to Brooks quality

    2016/08/04 | Mobile, AL |

In my opinion Brooks needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. The fit is more than a full size smaller than the fit of the Maia style. I can not say anything positive about this bra, except that the concept was great.

    Absolutely love this bra

    2016/07/27 | San Diego, CA |

I recently purchased a Freya high impact sport bra but was not completely satisfied with the fit. I needed a bra that will support my larger bust. Being new to this brand, I was a little hesitant. However, this bra exceeded my exceptions. The quality of the material is excellent with padding on the straps and back hooks. The support is unlike any other bra I have used.
