Like an SUV for your feet, these supportive women’s trail shoes deliver a cushioned, balanced, ride—the best all-around, versatile shoe for adventures out and about. Feet stay comfortable and secure with trail-specific technologies that add a layer of protection, including a four-pivot system that acts like a personalized suspension system on tricky terrain, a ballistic rock shield to protect feet from hazards, and a rugged outsole that provides great traction on wet surfaces. New to this edition of trail shoes for women is a redesigned forefoot for improved durability.

Please note: The Cascadia is designed as a trail running shoe. While a lot of people love it as a fastpacking and thru-hiking shoe while carrying ultralight gear; the Cascadia is not pack-rated and may not hold up to the extra weight and demands of long pack hikes. We’re your go-to option for trail runs, but a sturdy hiking boot may be better suited for heavy packs.

Brooks has made a fantastic come back from the poor quality cascadia 10's. I am a long distance lightweight backpacker and these are the only shoes I've been able to find that I can hike a 20 mile day without my feet killing me. I've worn them 140 miles so far and they are not showing signs of wear. I expect to get between 600 and 800 miles out of them simular to the cascadia 8's. Thank you brooks for again putting out a great product.! Cascadia 11's rock!

I tried these out on a mild four-mile trail run yesterday. Within a mile, my right achilles was hurting (I have never had achilles issues) and both shins were cramping. These shoes feel like the dead spot in an old gym floor. Not only do they not give any energy to my stride, they seem to make me have to work twice as hard for every step. Today, my right knee is very sore and I have blisters on my toes--problems I didn't have before I tried the shoe. For perspective, I typically run 15-25 trail miles and 10-15 road miles a week.

Comments about Cascadia 11:

These shoes are great for the rocky paths and dirt mountain trails I frequent. They were tight on the top of my foot when I first tried them, but they loosened up and now feel great.

I intended to use the shoe to trail run but it is not comfortable due to the way my body sits with the lower heel. I will be sending it back.

Bought these shoes for trail running after researching a bunch of different trail shoes and I could not be happier with them! So far very durable and the tread is great, have yet to slip on any loose terrain.

Sole is Thin, Much Less Support on Trails

              Comments about Cascadia 11:

I only wear Brooks shoes for running, walking and day hiking. After I put them on, I realized that they felt very different. So I measured, and found that these Cascadia 11's have a thinner sole than other Cascadia's I have in my closet. I was really looking forward to getting them and am disappointed at the poorly designed foot bed and lack of support. I am returning these shoes.

                Comments about Cascadia 11:

I am so disappointed with these shoes. I have worn the Adrenaline GTS for years (love them) and was so excited to get the Cascadias. They seem like a really terrific shoe but the fit didn't work out. They felt like they fit at first so I kept them, but after a 7 mile hike, my feet were killing me. I don't have a particularly wide foot, and have a very narrow heel These shoes squeezed my feet raw in the toe box while allowing my heel to pop out the back (the shoes were probably a little longer than the Adrenaline GTS, which I have never had a problem with). Overall, I am really bummed out that I spent the money on these shoes. If you have a long VERY NARROW foot, these could still be a really great pair of shoes for you.

                Comments about Cascadia 11:

I have purchased the Brooks cascadia several times over the last few years, but unfortunately these did not live up to previous models. They are not as comfortable, and feel very tight across the foot, especially the toes. Based on previous Cascadia shoes, you can tell the quality of materials is not as durable or well put together.

                  Comments about Cascadia 11:

I loved loved loved my Cascadia 6s, and after wearing out my Adrenalines, I decided to go back.

But they didn't fit. I have a very high arch and narrow mid-foot and love brooks for the support and fit. But these felt similar to Merrell shoes, they are simply too flat. The toebox was a bit narrrow, and the height of the toebox (before the tongue) was way too low. They were rubbing against the top of my foot at the base of my big toe, and the heel was too loose (remedied by lacing but still a lot looser than the previous version.

Back they go. I walk several miles at once and my previous pair fit so well and lasted for years (I wear the soles out). Brooks, it'd be helpful to know if shoes are being modified so I don't have to try and return - if you're adjusting the fit for narrower, flatter feet, please just say so in the model description.
