    Comments about Adapt Jacket:

I purchased this jacked few weeks ago, and weather just got close to 40s for me to take it out for a spin today. And I love it. It is lightweight, I can barely feel it. Along with my thermal shirt it made me feel dry, warm and cozy while running today morning.

Just a small remark: I am 5'8" and sleeves seem a tiny bit too short for me to use thumbholes comfortable, but I don't need them that much anyway.

Perfect jacket, I highly recommend it for chilly fall runs.

    Comments about Adapt Jacket:

I have a heavier Brooks winter running coat I wear in the -20 degree Iowa winters, this is an awesome, 18 degree and warmer coat. Light weight, breathable, LOVE the hood with facemask. very functionable ( a word?)! You can't go wrong with any brooks coat I have decided!! I got it on sale in the black so I could use it for other things besides running. Wore it for a 14 mile run 20 degrees out and wore a l/s shirt under it, perfect- I was warm and dry.

I try to work in some outdoor winter running but am always so cold. I read the reviews on this jacket and thought why not try. It was great, the temp was mid-30's and I was warm but not over-heating. Light weight, the attached ski-mask/hood is a great addition and tucks away nicely. Would def recommend!

I can't believe how lightweight and warm this jacket is! I'm so satisfied! I just wish there was a breast pocket to put my iPhone. I can put it in the pockets, but it bounces a little against my leg. I still love it though!

          Comments about Adapt Jacket:

Love the stretch panels under arms & at shoulders--really makes this jacket comfy in action. Stylish fit, lightweight warmth, enough pockets. Surprised how much I love the balaklava--this is a bonus. Features to improve: zipper pull is too small & very difficult to grasp--especially with gloves, but even barehanded; needs more reflectivity on front; needs an interior pocket large enough for iPhones, not just iPods.

            Comments about Adapt Jacket:

I was looking for a winter running jacket that would keep me warm. I had tried several others but was still cold. Apparently, I am a cold runner. This jacket did the trick. I am warm, but not overly warm when I run now. The jacket is comfortable, and although I noted the sleeves were long, I like them that way. Every detail on this jacket really works well from the thumb holes, to the covered zipper to the balaclava that tucks neatly (yes, really, neatly) into the neck area. I've been running 4-5 miles in 32 f degrees to most recently 15 f degrees, and it's been warm with just a light wicking shirt underneath. The different fabric under the arms also allows for ventilation to prevent me from getting too warm. Many people would probably think it's too warm, but if you want to stay comfortable in cold weather and you "run cold" then this is the thing. Thanks Brooks!

              Comments about Adapt Jacket:

I love Brooks running shoes, so I bought this jacket hoping for the best solution for winter running. The jacket is beautiful and very comfortable, but the biggest problem is that it is not suitable for running... :( What is supposed to be a pro, that is holding in the heat, becomes a nightmare if you run for an hour or more - everything gets wet and the jacket itself gets heavy. When I read that it "lets you heat the winder roads" I was expecting someting really special, and yet when I went running while it was raining, after 45minutes I got all wet -thus the jacket is not water-resistant:(. All in all - it is a beautiful thing, I love the colour and the whole look, but I spent quite a lot of money to feel comfortable while running in winter and it seems I will have to buy another one:(
