Fabric & Care

DRILAYER®

Our signature sweat-wicking fabric is thoroughly tested for comfort, performance, and durability and optimized to keep you, the runner, performing at your best.

Handwashing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

Being a male and self-conscience with having gynecaumastia this is not something I like people to know. Many years back I was referred to trying sports bras as a solution. I was hesitant at first, but actually became comfortable with the issue. Since then I began to show a lot of interest in sportsbras and the Vixen is one of my favorites. Especially the back racerback styling.

I agree with the other consumer that the straps left horrible sores where the seams are at the top of shoulders. Whether I ran 3 miles or 10, the straps were unbearable. So, I only wear this bra while riding my bike. There is no way I can wear it to run in which was my purpose for purchasing...support. Previously I was very happy with the "apparently discontinued" style. Glad I bought 2 extras of the old style at a marathon expo.

Comfy, but straps were too long

By

About Me Gym Rat

Pros

  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight

Cons

  • Not Enough Support
  • Straps Too Long

Best Uses

    Comments about Vixen C/D:

I ordered this bra thinking it might be good for lighter activity gym days, or even for lounging around home.

I am a 36D and ordered the large. The band and cups fit well, however the shoulder straps were wayyy too long.

I have a shorter torso - so this bra might work great on someone with a normal to long uppder body. But due to that the bra sagged and just didn't offer enough support to the gals.

If this bra had adjustable straps like many other offered then I think I could have loved it, unfortunately it was just too long.

    Chafing from band underneath

    Comments about Vixen C/D:

From the band underneath, it's chafing and creating small dots that are part that band. I've used body glide which helps, but I probably wouldn't buy this bra again.

      Comments about Vixen C/D:

Bought this on sale. It's a bit pricey at regular price but on sale I'll buy these all day. I'm very small (under 5 feet and under 100 pounds) and I found the small fit well. My torso is small so the length is a bit annoying if I use my heart rate monitor. I have to stuff it into the bra because the bra sit so low on my rib cage the heart rate monitor strap sits right were the band of the bra is. All that combined is a bit snug. I like the fit of the bra but I'd say this may not be an awesome bra for hot summer runs. I feel it's a bit warm with all the padding.

            Comments about Vixen C/D:

I wear a 34C. According to the size chart, that would put me in a medium. I bought all three colors.
            The negatives:
1.) In the medium, these bras are too small. There is no way a 36 or a D cup could fit. I'm going to keep mine because although a little tighter than normal. I can wear them. However, I am going to order more in a size large.
2.) The white one ran quite a bit smaller than the blue and pink ones.

            The Good:
I am a triathlete and train quite a bit. I've worn all three colors. They are very comfortable. Prevent high beams (for the most part) and don't chafe. I've worn them on the bike and for long runs so far.

I would highly recommend these bras, but if you're a 34CD/36CD, you might want to go up to a Large.

I decided to try a few new bras in my last order, but Vixen didn't work out. It was definitely not a bra I could do any high-impact work in, and it wasn't flattering. It felt loose and light, like something I might sleep in.

                Comments about Vixen C/D:

I bought a medium at a store and band and cup size fit very well but the straps dug into my shoulders. In this online order, I got a large, and the straps feel comfortable on my shoulders but the band and cup size are too big. Also, I have a lot of trouble getting both bras off, a first for my sports bras, and I'm fairly flexible.

The medium which claims to fit a 34C/D or 36C does not really fit a 34D. That is my size, and while teh band width is alright for me, the cups are simly too small.
