Fabric & Care

DRILAYER®

Our signature sweat-wicking fabric is thoroughly tested for comfort, performance, and durability and optimized to keep you, the runner, performing at your best.

Handwashing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

I'm 5'2, 106, 34D, short torso. All my sports bras were 5-6 yrs old, definitely beyond their use, so I decided to try several MC styles in 34D or Medium: Luna, Juno, Jubralee, Fiona, Rebound Racer, Urban Xover and Vero. Most of these have favorable reviews. Here are my opinions. Luna was definitely out - cups did not fit well & overall it felt like a regular bra not a sports bra. I don't need another day bra.Juno had good support, almost no movement, but the sides were too high & chafed my arms. I knew Juno would be difficult to get on/off from other reviews but once on, it felt & looked like a medieval instrument of torture, even moreso on my petite frame and short torso. Couldn't wait to extricate myself. Fiona was really disappointing - it's been the flagship bra for a long time and it looks old-school. The support seemed minimal, fabric thin, straps too bulky & overall just not attractive. Jubralee was definitely a step up from Fiona & the best of these 4 that have the wide, 3-hook back strap, which is a pain & unattractive, probably because of my small frame. Jubralee had the most support, little movement, the sides were lower & didn't chafe, the straps are much thinner, softer & smoother, and it's comfortable. The only complaint is all the excess fabric on the inside of the cups, which is just weird. Other reviewers commented on the same. Maybe I need to try a C cup. It's a possible keeper but I wish it had cups like Juno & a smaller back strap. The Rebound Racer is a little hard to get on but fits much better than Juno for a racing style. Back strap is thinner, very good support/little movement, lower sides/no chafing. The straps seem a little bulky but overall this is a keeper. My absolute favorites are the Urban Xover and Vero. Both have thin straps, thin back straps, great support, no chafing, very little movement, great colors and a more modern style/feel. Plus Vero has convertible straps so you can make it a racer if you want. It's been a long time since I've worn a racer back but Xover is so comfortable! Love these 2 and will order more colors!

I bought two of these bras at a local running store in October 2012- the black with pink (sale color) and a turquoise color not shown here. I liked that they had padded cups to prevent nipple show- through in cold weather, and they were much easier to put on than the Juno. Within two days of wearing them to run, I had terrible chafing under both arms. I could not return them to the store because I had worn them. I spent so much on them (not on sale at the time) that I continued to keep wearing them because I could not afford to spend any more money on new sports bras. I tried using several different anti- chafing products on the area and yet the chafing still continued to get worse. I am a half marathon runner, but I was starting to feel chafing about a mile in to each run even with anti- chafe products. I had ugly, huge, red, flaky welts under each arm from running in these bras. It was hard to shave my underarms or put on deodorant because of these welts. I even considered seeing a dermatologist about them.
Fast forward to February 2013. A Moving Comfort rep came to my local running store for a special event which including fittings. I showed her what had happened to me and she explained that this bra is not for running, it's for the gym. She fitted me in the Endurance Racer which works much better for me. The skin has healed on its own and and my underarms are happy again.

    Comments about Urban X-Over C/D:

Sometimes I would rather wear two sports bras than worry about movement while running. This bra keeps everything pretty stable, but becasue of its modern fit I can see my cleavage, and I am way too aware of the bounce it does have! So, it feels like it is good, but I just love the compression of not worrying that anything is moving.

This bra is also weird to get on. When you're trying to put it on, it feels like the straps are too tight to get on and then hook together, but if you lean in and get it hooked the straps end up perfect (or maybe even a bit loose). It's a good bra, but I miss the ones you could just pull on.

    Comments about Urban X-Over C/D:

A large fit me as a 32f cup, but it doesnt so much lift them up as hold them down, thus the shape isnt very sexy. The material creates a nunga nunga sweat pool which is a bummer. I wore it on a 7 mile hike and my shoulders hurt so bad the next day from the straps holding my nunga nungas down- it wasnt worth the pain.

I only wear Moving Comfort Bras. The Juno seems to match my body size the best. I am a 32D with a small frame and full-breasted. Unfortunately, I was overflowing out of the sides of this bra:( I may try reordering in a 32DD.

        Comments about Urban X-Over C/D:

I'm 5'4', 113 lbs, I wear a 32C from the high end bra store, you know the one. I love the ease of getting into and out of this bra. It holds everything in place, a little heavy due to padding but I like the padding as it aids in modesty. I'm 50+ so need support. My only complaint is that the bra straps must be let out all the way and even then it would fit a tiny bit better if they were just a bit longer. Thought this was due to my age and having nursed children. However, my 16 YOD has the exact same issue with the bra. Hope they improve the straps but still will keep a couple in rotation regardless as they are perfect for cold weather runs/workouts. I've tried removable pads but you can never get them in perfectly after washing and if you do it takes more time than I'm willing to spend before a workout.

        Comments about Urban X-Over C/D:

I ordered two of these in a size small because that is what the size chart recommended. For reference, I am 5''5, 116lbs, a 32C. They looked very stylish and were fine if I was just hanging around or going for a walk. However, as soon as I was a few blocks into my walk, I was having a hard time breathing. The band of these bras was too tight for me. If I order again, I would definitely go up to at least a size medium, despite what the size chart says. I will be returning the ones I have.

This item works well for me as workout and all day wear. I do not enjoy traditional bras for the every day wear. And I hate bra shopping. This bra gives me great support, is comfortable and does not give me a uniboob. I excited that I could find it in plain white and plain black. I hope and pray that this style will not get phased out and is still available when I need new ones!!!!

Great bra with lots of support. The straps come pre-crossed (you can't unhook them to get it on), it's a little difficult to get on and off. Not too big of a deal, but worth mentioning.

This is the second Moving Comfort bra I have purchased. First was Fiona. I am a 34C cup and found the sizing to be perfect. Plenty of support here while not squishing the girls. I prefer the Fiona for ease of putting on, but the crossover is MUCH more comfortable. No chaffing at all.
