I've been a Brooks lover from the start of my running career but often would find myself wanting to try other brands due to the cooler colors. And I've always come back to Brooks. They are clearly the right shoe for me. I had just purchased a competitors shoe and they KILLED my feet (the balls of my feet), went into my local running store and talked to the guy there. He was so excited to show me the new Ravenna 5's. After trying them on (as well as some others) I was once again back to my trusty old Brooks. Clearly a great shoe. With the 5's, I can feel where you added extra cushion to the mid foot of the shoe. And in the heel. And don't even get me started on the color. You guys hit it out of the park! THANK YOU so much for giving women some cooler colors! I LOVE the blue/orange/green color!!! Thanks again for another great shoe.

    Best Uses

    • With Orthotics/Inserts

I bought my Brooks shoes for walking on an outdoor, paved recreation track. I am very flat footed and had tried several other shoe brands but, after walking a short distance, they all hurt my feet. I wear medically prescribed orthotics but do not always need them in my Brooks shoes. They have good arch support and they are so light weight. I walk two to three miles everyday and my feet don't hurt anymore. Thank you for a great product.

I just got my second pair of these. Great shoe, the only comment I have is that the upper material wears out fast, my big toes make holes in the upper, something I have never had any problems with with other shoes... The cushioning, the feel, the comfort are absolutely great! I train for and run marathons and half marathons. I'm a 5'4" female, 125#. My feet are pretty wide, my arch pretty high, and these shoes feel so comfortable...

I have worn this shoe for several years and each year it gets a little bit better! The new blue/orange shoe is the most comfortable so far and the sizing is a tad larger, which feels better to me. I also really like the new colors! I wear these on road and easy trail with ease. They are comfortable for my long 20-mile runs, and the shorter 3-5 mile ones. I can't say enough about Brooks shoes.
