I've been wearing the Adrenaline's for a few years now, but decided to try these out because the Adrenaline's just don't come in enough color options. The Ravenna 5's look great and have all the support and comfort of the Adrenalines for my runs. I run every day from 4-9 miles so I can't speak to their performance over really long distances. They do seem to be about a half a size larger than the Adrenalines. I wore a 10.5 EE in the Adrenalines and I should have gone with a 10 EE in the Ravennas.

Just switched to these from Mizuno after they discontinued my shoe. I'm very pleased with them. I'd tried Saucony and those Newton lugs, but wasn't a fan. This is a great trainer, good for high mileage, very comfortable, and I love the look.

My background, if it matters. 6', 175lbs, been running for about 4 years. Only 1 marathon under my belt, tons of halves, 1 Ragnar Relay (5 legs, 26.9mi total). 5k - 19:13, 5mi - 34:32, half - 1:41, Full - 3:47:27. I use these for distance and recovery runs, 7-9min paces, depending, and racing flats for races under 13.1.

I've been a New Balance guy for the past half dozen years, but with the recomendation of a friend decided to try a pair of Brooks. These shoes have been great, I was able to find the perfect size by using the shoe advisor link. Since it's very cold and snowy I've only used them on the treatmill, but they have worked out great so far.

Definitiely an improvement over the past two iterations. My favourite was the Ravenna 2, least favourite the 3. The 5 is low and fast like the 2. It does feel roomier in the forefoot, possibly because of the seamless construction.
