Additional Information

Embrace lightweight without losing cushion in the get-up-and-go PureFlow 3. We've fine-tuned features like a more rounded heel, sculpted the medial side while integrating a wider Nav Band, and repositioned the Toe Flex to better align your stride. So all you feel is that sweet cushion, and all you need is the open road.

We’re not the only people going with the Flow: Runner’s World Magazine named the PureFlow 3 its "Best Update" in their March 2014 issue. The editors praised new design for its smoother landing, more flexibility in the forefoot, and improved fit; calling the PureFlow 3 "a bargain-priced trainer that handles a lot of miles."

Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I'm a fairly new runner (9 months or so). I started out with minimalist/barefoot shoes (not a good idea). Ive also tried a few different varieties of "standard" running shoes and found them mostly stiff and uncomfortable. After finding the right balance in the Pure Flow 2 (love them) I tried out the 3 and was not disappointed. As a moderate forefoot striker, not too severe, I love the open toe box and haven't really found a shoe that has the kind of forefoot cushioning and comfort that these have. I also like that they provide some stability but are very flexible and light. I absolutely love them. I'm going to also try out the Pure Connect and Pure Cadence so I can rotate them. Definitely worth a try.

    Not loving this version

This is the 3rd version of these shoes I've used, and definitely my least favorite. I've loved the previous versions, but this one is just not working for me. The shoe volume is larger than the earlier versions so that the same size now fits too large. The new tongue design has created a pressure point on the outside of my foot. The tongue has also created an irritation on my instep/ankle. I've used this shoe as my trainer shoe as it's been great for soaking up the miles, but now I think I need to find a new solution.

Tried on and ran with a number of the usual suspects from the major brands and the Pureflow 3 was a clear winner. To really judge the fit of a shoe, you need to run with it and while other models felt great when walking a few steps, they quickly fell short once I hopped on a treadmill. These puppies hug your feet and provide great cushioning without losing sensitivity and feedback. Look no further for your next pair of running shoes.

Still not sure about this shoe. I always wear a size 11 but recently it seems as though Brooks shoes have been running a tad big so the last couple pairs i've ordered i went a half size small. This shoe in particular felt too narrow and small so i sent them back and ordered my normal size 11 but now they seem too wide and basically just feel sloppy. The original pure flows were the best fit by far!

          Unsure about this shoe

I have long been awaiting a new pure flow to be released. I fell in love with the original pure flow and logged many miles in them. Needing a new shoe, I naturally purchased the pure flow 2, but was less than impressed with the new design. With the pure flow 3, I was hoping to get that feel of the original shoe. When I first put the shoe on, my initial thought was these are too narrow. After one 5 mile run in them, I am skeptical about them. I have areas on the tops of my toes where the shoe was rubbing pretty aggressively. If you decide to purchase think about buying a 1/2 size larger. I will give them a couple more runs and see how they turn out. On the other hand, the shoe has the perfect amount of cushioning and support that I was looking for. I could see myself able to run many miles in them if it weren't for the cramped feel.
