Brooks has made some awesome tights here. They breathe well, don't restrict your motion, and have discreet but ample storage space for keys, GU's, whatever. The problem is that, if you're like me and weight 160 lbs and are 6'2", you need a little more length. I mean, what about the tall skinny people?! Don't they need their ankles covered too? But really, if you guys (Brooks) would make a Medium-tall option on your sizing and add an inch or so of length, I think that would help we, your vertically-inclined customers, to more easily "Run Happy" with some nice toasty ankles without needing to wear ski socks to make up the difference.

These tights are warm, and the pockets are well placed. The zippered pocket can hold keys, while the holster pockets securely, and conveniently hold gels.

However, I am having trouble with the fit of them. For reference I typically wear 32x33/34 pants. I first got a Large, but the tights were too loose in the legs and waist. So, I returned them, and got a medium, but now they are a little too short.

I like the look and build of the pants. Unfortunately they did not fit me well. I based my purchase on waist size--I have a 34 waist so I ordered the Medium--and I found them to be too tight and a bit too short.

I have been wearing these in area of NY where we get vast amounts of Lake effect snow not to mention a bit chilly. I have worn these in -10 with out wind and if really windy I wear a pair of wind block pants of the top and have never been cold. I would like to see a tad more room in the groin area otherwise great tight for the money

I have worn the original Spartan Pant for a number of years and the Spartan 2 and Spartan 3 weren't as good as the original so I switched to the Utopia Thermal Tight. I have worn them for just over a week now and have been pleasantly surprised. It is a comfortable fit and is perfect for winter running in Wisconsin!

Pennsylvania winter approved. I own both the Infiniti and Vapor tights neither are as warm as these tights. The added outside pockets are positioned great for Gels and can hold 3 gels in each pocket.
The crouch area is looser than the Infiniti's tights but for me was it was not an issue. They're a smart buy and will keep you warm through the coldest months.

Only tights you'll need in the temp range of 20 to 45 degrees F. They do not gather, sag, or bunch up. Actually feel warm to the skin, and yet not too warm once you get moving.
