Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. Will never purchase another brand again! Wish other colors were available for my wife. She is not a fan of "girl" colors, like pink and purple.

Major issues with new tongue design

      Comments about PureCadence 4:

I have been an avid wearer of the PC line with this being close to my 10th overall pair. I have run three half marathons and countless other races. All my running is outside and in all weather conditions. I run between 25-35 miles a week.

In general i like the PC line because of the light weight and the design of the pronation control. I also like a softer ride, which the PC provides. I have never been a fan of the colors nor the look, however I overlook those for performance reasons.

The current version, in my opinion, has a major flaw in the design of the tongue. They have fused two pieces of material together and at the top they have created a very rigid tongue that cuts right into the foot where the ankle and the foot meet. This issue occurred less than one mile into a run and created deep cuts in the skin. This problem can be corrected by wearing socks that have a higher profile, but if run in low profile or no socks you will likely have the same issue. I have told customer service about the issue and they seemed somewhat blasé about it. I hope it can be corrected with this production cycle or at the least in the PC5's.

For this reason I really can't rate the shoe any better than a 1 star and in fact given the significant design flaw its tough to do that. - Sorry

I was about to give up on the purecadence after the 2 and 3 changed to an eyelet that would not allow you to appropriately tighten the shoe around my foot. This fixes the problem and makes this the best shoe I have even ahead of my supernova glides!
