This seemingly mild-mannered top holds a superpower within. Engineered with an innovative fiber, this remarkable top activates with moisture by not only pulling it away from the skin, but also generating heat back to the body. No magic here, it's inherent to the yarn so it won't wash out.

          Comments about Heater Hog LS:

Have worn this as a base layer for 5 and 10 mile runs at 17 and 28 degrees F, respectively. Performed great. Also have worn this as a middle layer on shorter runs in very cold temp - 8 degrees F/ -3 wind chill - again performed great. Shirt is semi-fitted. I am 5'8" and 170 lbs - ordered a small and it is just right. This shirt passes the test in wintry North Dakota.

            Comments about Heater Hog LS:

I logged over 20 miles with this shirt, in below freezing temperatures (20-s).
I used it as a base layer. On top I had windproof shirt. I felt very comfortable and warm.
Normally I wear shirts size M, but based on other reviews, I decided to go two sizes down and got XS.
            It fits great. I am 6"1', 160lb.
Except for the sizing, this is a great winter shirt.

              Comments about Heater Hog LS:

This shirt is unbelievably warm. I frequently run in below freezing temps and this is great as a base layer.
FIT: I am 6'6, 230 lbs. I never find quality running apparel that fits me. Shirts are ALWAYS too short for someone as tall as me and most of the time barely go past my waist. I understand this shirt runs long for the average person but I am personally grateful to Brooks for making something that fits taller, bigger runners. I have bought two of these and may buy a third because I i doubt they will continue to make shirts like this.

                Comments about Heater Hog LS:

I (for some reason) tend to do the majority of my races in the winter months so I've been looking for a lightweight, comfortable thermal layer that will keep me warm for the duration of my run but also not cause chaffing. This shirt is the answer to my prayers. I wore it as a base layer with a tshirt on top when it was 20 degrees out and actually started to feel hot toward the end of my run! It is perfect for long races in temperatures between 20-45 degrees.

As an added bonus, it's actually very soft, comfortable, and looks nice so it's great for lounging around the house in the winter months!
