You asked for 'em, you got 'em: compression socks from Brooks! Run happier and recover faster with these knee-high socks. The ideal level of tightness - 12-18 mmHg - helps in recovery; while X-Static fibers inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, which helps with less stink. A mess panel on the upper foot reduces bulk, while phosphorescent yarn adds better visibility in low-light conditions.

• Glow-in-the-dark details: Phosphorescent yarn receives a light charge for better visibility during low-light hours
• 12-18 mmHG compression: Ideal level of tightness for training and helping in recovery
• Mesh upper foot panel: Reduced built and provides better air circulation
• Flat toe seam: Helps prevent blisters caused by friction
• Cushioned bottom: Provides optimal comfort and support
• X-Static: Inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria

The only complaint I have about these socks is that they don't come in any other colors. I use them for running, and yes they're great for that, but more importantly I wear them to work. I'm a nurse and stand on my feet for 12 hours a day. After wearing these socks to work, I was actually able to go running after work because my feet did not hurt at all. These socks are multi-purpose, and all I need now is more colors to match my scrubs.

I ordered size M based on the suggested size chart for your reference, my street shoes size 8-8.5, running shoes size 8.5-9. I feel it runs big, I have at least an inch bigger/loose on feet, I was afriad to get any bister wearing them. I have Nike compression socks, I love them, and I would like to try Brooks. But this one isn't comparable. I don't feel much compression, maybe, it's good for short runs or long airflight. I won't wear it for a long run. Moreover, it's doesn't have L and R side specially. It's expensive even on sales, and the money doesn't worth.

    Comments about Compression Knee High:

I hadn't yet tried true compression socks and first wore these during a half marathon, then on a few long runs in the Grand Canyon. Not only were they comfortable, they did seem to boost recovery (AND kept all the Canyon dust off my lower legs!). I love the fact that they fit correctly, too, as "small" was the smallest size they came in (I am typically an XS). I have been so please with these socks that I just bought another pair.

          Comments about Compression Knee High:

I used these compression socks for the first time this weekend. I did 2 runs, one was 4 miles & the other was 3. These socks were great for compression. Until I bought these, I had only used calf sleeves, so I do not have another pair of socks to compare them to. I am very satisfied with them.

            Comments about Compression Knee High:

Foot portion of the sock has mesh panels which are nice, but the foot portion of the sock is big. The reflective stripes on the calf are nice. I did notice a difference in feet/ leg fatigue, but not as much as my 20-30mm Hg compression socks from another company. Not everyone wants/needs that much compression though. As others have said, I wear these during the day, not while I work out so that may have so etching to do with my preference for a higher level of compression. Brooks, please make these in more colors, patterns and two options for compression level!

            Comments about Compression Knee High:

I like they way these compression socks look and they are fairly comfortable for all day use. They definitely don't offer the compression that I'm used to with other brands.

                Comments about Compression Knee High:

I love compression socks in the winter! They run a tad large, though. I was able to shrink mine in the dryer for a *near* perfect fit. The compression is just right- not TOO tight, but tight enough. The toes are slightly padded for GREAT comfort, and the sock is very soft and comfy. I really like the bright colors, too. I also appreciated the length. I am super tall, but these were still near my knee.
