About Kids' Shoe Sizes: Children's shoes are sized in two waves. The infants and children's size wave starts at size 1 for pre-walking tots and extends to size 13.5 (measuring 7¾ inches from heel to toe). The youth size wave starts again at size 1 (at just under 8 inches from heel to toe), and extends through adult sizes. This wave normally accommodates children ages 6+. All Brooks kids’ shoes come in the "standard" D width – so there’s no difference, size-wise, between the boys' and girls' PureFlow 2.

Our Kids' PureFlow shoes, offered in sizes 10.5-13.5 and 1-7, start in the infants and children's size wave and then continue into the youth size wave. Please note: size 10.5 is the smallest size in the Kids' PureFlow. Our Kids' Adrenaline™ GTS, offered in sizes 1-7, fits the second (youth) wave of children's shoe sizes

      Comments about Kids PureFlow 2:

My son loves these shoes! The red looks so cool and he likes that they are similar to Dad's Pure Flow 3. He feels fast and runs like a champ in them. Only complaint is the slippery laces... wish they were like the good ones on the men's shoe! Harder to tie, but they stay knotted just fine.

              Comments about Kids PureFlow 2:

My son is a runner and has competed (and placed) in many races. He has almost completed his training for his first half marathon, so his shoes see a fair amount of mileage. He has tried several different shoes, and these, by far, are his favorite. The sole is worn in the back on one shoe, but he has enough mileage on them that that was expected. The only problem we have had is that the shoe laces come untied every 1-2 miles, no matter how we tie them or how many times we knot them. We love the shoes so much that we have ordered another pair for his half in a couple of weeks, but we will definitely be trying to find replacement laces so that he won't have to stop multiple times during the race or trip and get injured.

                    Comments about Kids PureFlow 2:

These shoes have really held up well. I only have two problems with them. One is that the laces are terrible. They won't stayed tied, even when double and triple knotted. My son is constantly having to retie his shoes throughout the day. It has become incredibly annoying for him, myself, and I've also heard complaints from his teachers. Also, the insoles don't come out. Considering the adult versions all have removable insoles, I was expecting the child version to be similar. This makes the sneakers a little harder to clean.
