Fabric & Care

DRILAYER®

Our signature sweat-wicking fabric is thoroughly tested for comfort, performance, and durability and optimized to keep you, the runner, performing at your best.

Handwashing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

This is the best sports bra I've ever worn. I couldn't even wait to get it out of the box and use it.

I disagree so much with people who say it's difficult to get on. Now I am only a 32C and it isn't as easy as slipping on a Yoga bra, but it you've ever had to tussle with a full impact bra from UA then this is a walk in the park. There is a lot of space between the racer-back and the neckline, so it's pretty easy to slip over your head and then hook. The hooks come down far enough to be easily accessible if you're wearing the right band size.

I ordered this bra in my true size and it fit perfectly. In fact I tried on a 34B and a 32D and I could have settled for either, still a more accurate fit than most sports bras on the market, but my size gives me the perfect fit. This leads me to believe this bra runs true to size in general.

Absolutely zero bouncing! And while the front is a bit thicker, I don't get any movement what so ever. I'm fully locked and loaded, so it's well worth the trade off and I think the bra is still very light and great at keeping you dry. I love that I don't get the suffocated feeling in this bra. I think the slightly molded cups prevent that. The straps are wide and comfortable. They are smooth and lie flat despite the adjustable nature. A lot of racer backs come up to close around your neck and chafe a bit, but this one doesn't at all. As someone who is petite, I also struggle with wings being too thick and coming up too high in the arm pits and this doesn't at all. I have full range of motion!

This bra is actually quite attractive for a high impact sports bra. The surf color is gorgeous by the way :). I've actually got nothing bad to say.

LOVE THIS BRA!

The biggest problem with this bra is the band, there is a large seam on it and it chafes horribly. I am a marathon runner with a larger chest (32DD) - it does not seem to matter how much glide I use, this bra and the Rebound Racer leave open wounds on my back & under my breast. I am posting a picture of my back after a 10 mile, cool spring day run so you can decide before you buy.
I will spare you the photos from under by breasts :)

My running partner has exactly the same problem on her back, and she is much smaller chested.

I am sure this bra is fine if you are just going to the gym, but if you are an avid runner, BEWARE! The chaffing is hellish...just wait for that awesome burn when you get in the shower.

The racer back is not very comfortable either, I find it itchy. I have no problem getting it on and off and it does reduce bounce well.

A post cancer run saver!

  • Snug Fit
  • Supportive

Cons

  • Tends To Run Small

Comments about Juno:

after breast cancer, I found I couldn't tolerate any bounce. I'd catch myself running whilst holding my affected breast to keep it still. Did some research, found Moving Comfort. Used the online chat to zero in on the Juno. A miracle! Keeps the girls locked and loaded while still being comfortable. The adjustable straps allow me to manage my two different sized breasts post-surgery. I'd recommend for impact activity only (like running)- its a bit restrictive for something like yoga (at least for me). Runs a bit small - I had to order a size up to be comfortable.

    Comments about Juno:

I use this bra for running, but could honestly wear it as a regular bra if I needed extra support. I have a "D" cup size, so running was never very comfortable since I didn't have a great bra. This one is adjustable which I love and sits nicely on my back so it doesn't cut in.

I've worn the rebound racer for several years, and its great, but its a uniboob strapped tight situation. Juno gives support without that result.

        Comments about Juno:

Bra is great. Better than any sports bra I have tried. Very supportive and minimizes bounce. Keeps me tight inside. Was hesitant over the velcro straps but they seem to do just fine. I find it easier to take the bra off after working out by un-velcro-ing the straps. Love the colors. There is a lot of fabric, it's not a lightweight bra, but that's okay. I just want to stay in place.

          Comments about Juno:

I recently had surgery on my breasts. None of my former sports bras provided enough support for me to run without pain - even if I wore 2 or 3 at a time. The Brooks Juno enabled me to run without pain and was surprisingly comfortable.

My only complaint is that it is difficult to get on and take off - especially if you try doing it over your head. I find that it's easiest to get on and off if I undo the straps, pull it up from my feet, hook the back and then adjust the straps. I am not a small woman, but it easily pulls over my hips as long as I remember to undo the back clasp first.

The bra is true to size. It fits me better and provides more support than an Enell bra.

Buy this bra! You won't be sorry.

            Comments about Juno:

The Juno is the only sports bra that I wear. I am a petite runner with a larger chest that likes a snug fit with my bras, so I love that this comes in a 32 band size and the shoulder straps are fully adjustable. There is there right amount of coverage, especially in the underarm area. The only times I have chafing issues is during especially hot runs, but with a little bit of Body Glide, problem solved.
