I wear these all the time in the hot florida weather and they don't get heavy from sweat nor is the sweat obvious to an outsider. They are a loose fit which is a nice change since I tend to be built bigger in the thighs with a narrow waist. They don't ride up. I can wear these shorts to run a 10k (I did actually) or to spinning class, out on the trail, or walking around the shopping center. The wide waistband means there's never a muffin top effect and the no-drawstring means I don't have to worry about tightening or anything becoming untied in a run. I wish they had more colors.

I bought this on-line without trying them on first. Mistake. I would not have purchased had I tried them on, because they have a very strange fit: too low-cut & too short on the one hand, but strangely baggy in the front near the top of the crotch on the other. I am slim & never have a "muffin top" in any other clothes, but these shorts make me look a little chubby, with a small muffin top. Ugh! I attribute this to the very short inseam & low cut: they stop about 2 inches below my belly button. They are very short -- perhaps too short; we shall see. Also, I have a little bit of a booty, and the back of the shorts pull and stretch in an unflattering way, making my hips & the junk in my trunk look much bigger than they truly are. The interior undies are small and feel constricting. I like that in general, the profile is narrow and slim, in contrast to the most recent Nike tempo shorts I have purchased which resemble diapers. I was excited about these Glycerin shorts, but sadly they are very unflattering. For size comparison: I am usually a size 0-4 in street clothes, depending on brand; wear a S in the Nike Tempo & an XS in the Athleta Hana short. I ordered a pair of S in the Glycerin. I don't think going up a size would help, because this would probably make them too baggy. Overall: I give these shorts a resounding UGH.

Comments about Glycerin Short:

This is the 3rd pair of Glycerin shorts I have purchased. The first pair was too big so I use them as lounge shorts. The second pair fit just right, so right, I wear them for marathons. I love the waist band and sleek fit. So I decided to purchase another pair in a different color, they are too small and tight in my hips and thighs. The waist band fits perfect, but everything else clings. Disappointed.

    Comments about Glycerin Short:

the back pocket is a disappointment. It can't hold a few keys including an electronic car key, quickly torn off -thread went loose- after 1h of running. Now it became another pair of shorts without pockets.
I bought this for the pocket! It is so hard to find women shorts with durable large pockets!
but if you dont care about pockets, this is a good one.

      Comments about Glycerin Short:

These shorts are my new favorites! They are very light weight which is wonderful in the Florida heat. They are not too short and the soft waist band is nice too. These look great with the infiniti bra and the race day tank.

These were very comfortable, but not as flattering as I had hoped they would be. The 2-in-1 Glycerin shorts are much better.
