O.k. so this is quite possibly my favorite running top! On cooler mornings when a shortsleeve or sleeveless just wont cut it this is my go to shirt! The silky feel is top of the line and the mesh panels at the arm pits allow extra ventilation! It keeps me warm enough on cold days when a jacket is too much but wont overheat me on cool spring mornings! This fit is a bit snug but a good snug, i do not like loose running apparel. The sleeve lenght is perfect and theres just enough 3M so those early morning drivers can see you! Designs on the side give a little style but there is not enough color options!

I just purchased two of these, looking to upgrade some of my older long sleeve running shirts. I was looking for something to wear as a single layer on a cool fall or spring day, and as a base layer on a cold winter run. The fabric is silky smooth as others have pointed out. Probably the silkiest of any running shirt I own. The fabric feels great against my skin. I also like that there is a meshlike material in the armpit area to help regulate body temps.

My only complaint is that there are way too many seams on this shirt. It was the first thing I noticed when I put the shirt on. All the areas where two colors converge, are sewn together creating seams. If you look closely at all the pictures there are many seams on this shirt; across the back, down the sleeves, under the arms, over the shoulders. Many more seams than a normal shirt.
Even though they are flat seams, I have a feeling that they may start to chafe when I go on runs lasting longer than an hour. I could be wrong, since I haven't done that yet with these shirts, but I'm hesitant to even try.

Other than the annoying seams, I think this is a great shirt to wear on chilly days, running shorter distances.

      Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

I'm 6'0", 35 in reach. Most medium shirts fit great around my chest but are too short in the waist and arm length.

This shirt is long enough in both areas. Perfect for chilly mornings (I live in Vegas so chilly is 45-55 degrees).

      Look good, feel great.

I layer with this shirt and able to wear alone with the right temps. Great color concept. Not so great, head hole seems big, and no thumb holes but those two cons would not prevent me from buying a few more.

        Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

Product is made out of light comftable material. It removes sweat fairy efficiently. Because of the softness of the material at times it might feel snug more then i like. Products looks very good but because i have a larger frame a design printed in the front might help to take up large empty space on the front of the shirt. That is just a suggestion. Overall i like this shirt and it does what it should it would be just little more awsome if it had more designs so i could wear it maybe outside of the gym in more social settings.

Great long sleeve shirt. I wear it for my long runs with a short-sleeve base layer during those early mornings when it is 50º or cooler, and it keeps me very warm. I have two of them and have worn them constantly for my early morning runs this spring, and also during my workouts in my garage (where it get fairly chilly in the morning as I live on a mountain).

              Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

I see a lot of the reviews praise this shirt for cold weather use. I use it for my runs in the Southwest Desert where Spring and Summer temps range between 85 and 118. This shirt has been great at protecting my arms and torso from the perpetual intense sunlight without making me overheat. It's mesh panels and sheer material keep the air flowing so I'm as cool as can be during my runs. I'd definately recommend this shirt for those who live in warm/hot environments and want to keep the sun damage to a minimum.

The only mild negative that I can point out is that the shirt seemed to fit a little bit too big. I normally wear a medium in shirts, but this medium didn't fit snugly as I'd like.

              Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

I've purchased a new one these for the last four years. The fabric is alway the same, it is quite honestly one of the most comforatble fabrics I've ever worn. I generally use this as a base layer (short sleeve on top during 30-40 degree training runs and under a long sleeve when the temps hits the teen and 20's) I get too hot in it when racing. I often look forward to the temperature dropping so that I can wear them. Last year's version (purhcased the Nightlife) has seams right under the arm pit and has caused rubbing on long runs. The seams on the back and other areas don't get in the way, just the one's under the arm pits. If they fixed that, it would go back to being one of the most comfortable, fitted shirts made.

                Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

I bought this product to give me a nice long sleeve shirt to wear while running outside in these cold Minnesota winters.

I've been wearing this alone when the temps have been in the 40 to 60 range, and as a base layer when the temperatures drop further. It has done a great job keeping me comfortable through all of that.

The shirt fits snug, very close to the skin, without feeling restrictive. It is a very comfortable product to wear.

One thing to note is that this product does not stop the wind at all. So you have to add an outer layer on those cold, windy days. This can make temperature regulation difficult if your running path/bike trail takes you in and out of the wind a lot.

                  Comments about Equilibrium Long Sleeve:

This shirt is used to keep me dry in cooler conditions. As we all know, being dry is one of the best ways to maintain warmth in cold conditions, and this shirt does just that flawlessly. I did not find this out until after I got the Equilibrium shirt, but if you watch the Brooks videos about it, the shirt is so silky smooth that it doesn't snag on anything, so the lady says as she runs a sharp object across it, and "its gonna look good five years from now as the day you got it." According to the lady Brooks spokeswoman, this shirt is virtually indestructible. Durability is a huge plus in my book. Im lovin' the close-to-body fit as well! I hate swaddling workout clothes and the color schemes and patterns are pretty catchy as well.

I'd say from 40*F to 55*F, this shirt would need combining with just a compression top for ultimate warmth and moisture transport. It would not be able to handle those temps on its own.

You will not be disappointed with this highly advanced shirt if you got it. Also, make sure to get your true size for ultimate comfort because it is close-fitting to the body.
