Fabric & Care

Hand washing is ideal, but not always possible. Fasten all hooks and straps, place in a lingerie bag, and use the gentle or delicate cycle. Always line dry, and never use dryer sheets or fabric softeners—they can clog the fabric and shorten the life of the bra.

Benefits

For Surgery or Injury

Women who've suffered an injury or have undergone surgery may find a traditional racerback too hard to put on, where the FineForm's open-back style and back closure make it a whole lot easier.

For Uneven Breasts

Most women have one breast larger than the other, and the FineForm's adjustable straps allow you to customize the fit to each individual breast.

There are better comparable bras.

For the sake of transparency, I received a complimentary bra from Brooks to write this review. I confess I'm not sure what the purpose of this bra is. For the sake of transparency, I received a complimentary bra from Brooks to write this review. I confess I'm not sure what the purpose of this bra is. If you want a comfortable medium-support bra, I'd choose the Fiona over this one (the Fiona offers sturdier straps and is higher cut—the chest needs to be held down as much as held up for stability). The FineForm is comfortable and easy to put on/take off. But it sizes small (I normally wear a D in Brooks bras and the C/D is too small for me—there is spillage out the top) and the straps are very stretchy. It is easy to do up and undo the hook to make it a racerback and when it is done up it is somewhat more supportive. I would personally not make much use of it but it would be appropriate for smaller-busted women, I think, for whom serious support is less necessary. It is a somewhat delicate bra with its thin, stretchy straps, and lower v neckline. It would be appropriate for hiking, strength training, and yoga but not, for larger breasted women anyway, medium or high impact cardio. For women like me, who want a similar kind of simple and comfy compression bra with good support, I'd recommend the Fiona for lighter support and the Jubralee for higher support. Read More

Why has Brooks changed the design?

Having a big chest brooks running has always been my go to bra -they last a long time and gave great support- but when I bought this one recently (and another different style) there was a big difference and not for the better. The old styles gave a lot of support and were comfortable and the only one that would fit my larger chest. The new styles have very little support and the straps aren't as…

The old styles gave a lot of support and were comfortable and the only one that would fit my larger chest. The new styles have very little support and the straps aren't as adjustable, I'm so disappointed and had to return- will have to find a new brand :( I hope they bring the old ones back. Read More

Comfortable for everyday and low/medium impact

I received this bra free of charge in exchange for my honest review. I really like the look, feel and silhouette of the FineForm bra. It is soft and comfortable, and has a natural look under clothing. It is soft and comfortable, and has a natural look under clothing. The bra I received was a size 30DE, and found this bra was not supportive enough for running or other high impact activities, but was supportive and comfortable enough for things like biking and elliptical machines. The adjustable straps stayed in place and didn't move. The hook closure makes it easy to get on and off even when sweaty. I did notice that when I had the straps in racerback position, it made a squeaking noise every time I moved. Overall, I would recommend this bra for low/medium impact sports and for every day wear. Not my favorite bra

The band and straps adjust easily for a snug fit, but the bra did not work for my petite, busty frame. I ended up spilling out of the molded cups. I prefer a flatter, compression look when wearing sports bras, and didn't love that my chest looked more 'stuck out.' The straps also made a sqeaky noise when I moved around, probably from the plastic clasp used to make the bra a racer-back. I received…

Very nice bra

This bra is perfect for me for yoga. The coverage is great and it doesn't slide around. I don't have to think about it or adjust it at all during class, no matter what the posture. The straps are soft and stay put with out digging in. Definitely recommended!
