Additional Information

The Brooks Vantage hit the ground running in 1976 and was the first shoe for the brand to win the prestigious Runner's World 5-Star Award. This historical running shoe featured the patented Brooks Varus Wedge and was available in widths lending itself to runners of all types and varieties. This bring-back classic features a Nubuck leather upper coupled with supple, breathable mesh and features a beautifully crafted handbag leather Chevron and heel tab.

Please note: The Vantage pays tribute to its original design, but this modern refresh is not a performance running shoe. As everyday kicks, you may wish to choose a half size smaller than your Brooks running shoes.

Cons

    Best Uses

    • Knock Around

The Vantage are a very cool retro look for a knock around shoe. I wear a 9 in my running shoes and ordered 1/2 size down and found these to be too big. I returned for a size 8 (which is my true street shoe size) and they are perfect. I don't intend to wear socks with them, just to slip them and and go type shoe and like that they are stylish, not a bulky running shoe.
