Style #100019

Chrissie calls the T7 "an amazing shoe!" She was rocking a pair when she came from behind on the run leg to win her fourth Ironman World Championship in Kona in 2011.

This incredibly light road-racing shoe is the fastest in the pack, with a new eye-catching upper for fly-by style. The streamlined, asymmetric upper works with the anatomy of the foot to perfectly wrap the arch securely from start to finish.

Available in men's sizes only. For women we suggest ordering 1.5 sizes smaller than what you usually wear. If you're curious, Chrissie wears a 10.

Note: As this running shoe is a very lightweight, minimal support racing flat, the vast majority of runners will not find it "enough shoe" for a full marathon. If you have a light frame and a biomechanically efficient stride, however, you may be able to get away with it. We suggest you work up to it in several half marathon-plus races beforehand to see how it works for you before running in it for a full marathon.

Bought this shoe a few months back for my 2011 racing season. In word one, AMAZING! This is by far the lightest, most comfortable racing flat I have ever owned! If you are racing distances from half marathon on down, buy this shoe (Just make sure to get a half size smaller than your everyday training shoes).

i got my t7's at my local running store and right off the bat I enjoyed every bit of them besides the side lacing which I quickly grew a custom to.they were my trainers for the track season and they were working fine. like all of my running shoes they got dirty, and sometimes very smelly which as a 15 year old boy i had no problem with. but then at one of my track meets my club coach whom im very close to told me about some cases of runners buying the T7's and only lasting them a month, which at first i didnt believe. then track season ended and i started running my longer distances training for the upcoming xc season and i soon figured out that what my coach said was true. and I felt pushed away from the T7 and to another shoe. i might of gotten a bad batch or something but id like to figure out what went wrong.

Comments about T7 Racer:

I am an avid runner. I run about 4-5 miles daily. I,v been running in Nike Free 3.0 and wanted a change.
My new Brooks have bad traction outside, too plastic feel that makes my feet hot, and lack sole flexibility that are giving my toes blisters.
I'll use the Brooks for indoors and go back to Nike Free for my outdoor runs. Too bad

Great Shoe to Run or Train In

By An Avid Brooks Shoe Runner

About Me Avid Athlete

Pros

  • 0 Degree Tilt

  • Responsive

Cons

  • Sole Wears Quickly
  • Wears Quickly

Best Uses

Comments about T7 Racer:

I've bought two pairs of this particular shoe and have loved them. They are lightweight and comfortable and provide ample support when running or working out. Having no difference in tilt or degree from my heal to my toe is essential for my style of running.

The sole does wear quickly which is most likely a function of how light the shoe is, however, the shoe is worth the price.

Brooks, if you're listening, please don't change this shoe!
