Perfect protective fit!

I ordered these shoes and wore them on a 45 mile trail run over three days in the Redwoods. This, I know is an insane way to break in a new pair of running shoes. But, alas there was no break-in issues what so ever. These shoes were not tight but they were snug enough to protect my feet and ankles from the rugged terrain and very breathable. But, alas there was no break-in issues what so ever. These shoes were not tight but they were snug enough to protect my feet and ankles from the rugged terrain and very breathable. There was equal amounts of hill climbing and decent during this event. Most of it extreme! My husband wears another brand of shoes and he ended up with toenail, knee and bridge of foot injuries. Not me! I love this shoe. Wish I had the money to buy three more back-up pairs! Read More

Awesome lightweight trail shoe

I love this shoe! It has the perfect amount of cushion and traction without being too heavy or aggressive. I love the details like the elastic pouch on the tongue that you can tuck the laces inside of and the inner glove-like lining that keeps out rocks and other small trail debris.

Good shoe for spin class

I bought this shoe for trail running, but haven't had a chance to get on the trails yet. I tried it out at a combo spin/ circuit-training class and it was wonderful!

don't EVER change these

I use these shoes in south central Mexico where I live. The mts are slippery shale during the rainy season, very rocky NO SLIP in these shoes. I love them. Like little octopus suctions! My left foot is slightly wider than my right so the last 2 toes feel the pinch. I may look into having them stretched.

How is the PureGrit for road running? I train mostly on trails, with an occasional run on the road, and am wondering if this shoe would work for that.

Any trail shoe can occasionally be used on the road if it is part of your route. We don't recommend excessive road usage.

I just bought the PureFlow shoe and did 2 test runs with and absolutely love them! I have high arches, and also have a bunion on one foot. It's hard for me to find shoes that work. I have recently purchased a New Balance Gobi Trail for my mountain runs. I don't love them, the terrains sometimes make the ankle part of my shoe dig into my ankle and the heel stack is also a bit higher, making me feel like I am going to roll my ankle when I step on a big branch or rocks. I am wondering if the PureGrit feels like the PureFlow. I had tried the PureCadence last month, but the extra support in them made my bunion toe feel more pressured, while the PureFlow felt great! If the PureGrit feels like the PureFlow, I will buy them in a heartbeat. If the PureGrit feels like the PureCadence, then I will skip them. Thoughts?

Hi! I love your puregrits and think they could compete with the hottest styles of nikes and adidas if you make a pair that's a grey and black. The colors you pick are always too girly bright instead of conveying the strength, female prowess, and style of people with active lifestyles. What if the shoe could be worn on the trail and with a cute outfit? What if travelers could feel cool in them - from the plan to the trail to their meeting? Runners love and trust brooks more than the nikes and adidas but we need some core color ways that make the shoe more versatile (especially grey black that looks good with anything while hiding the trail dirt). Then, get those shoes in the hands of microbloggers and fashion editors plus partner with cool lifestyle brands like AWAY and bobo's bar's etc.
