Additional Information

Let your feet fly with light-as-air design and fully loaded flex. The PureConnect 3 gives you just enough shoe to go where the turns are tight and spontaneous breakaways are encouraged. With enhanced Toe Flex, streamlined medial side design, and a slightly more rounded heel, this kick is ready to kick.

Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I am a giant fan of the of the Pure Connect! I do a bootcamp class 5 days a week and find the cushion perfect for things like bleacher jumps and the snug fit & lightness perfect for sprints. I am not a runner but ran my first 5k in the Pure Connect 2 last summer and it was a lot easier than I thought. I figure it was the Pure Connect. However, I wouldn't recommend them for a regular runner/jogger because mine were pretty well done after the 5k and I'd only had them about 2 months. I've read that the Connect 3 have been redesigned to last longer, so we'll see about that.

My previous purchases had been the Pure Connect 2 and I searched high & low for more of this version in my size, but alas, there are a lot of big-footed women out there I guess. I was concerned about the Connect 3 because I'd read some poor reviews but I honestly can't find another shoe that I like more, so I decided to give it a try. The first pair I ordered in my size & they were too big by a half size. By the way, if you order from the Brooks site they have this cool guide to help you order the correct size - I ignored it on my first order. I've been wearing my new shipment now for about 2 weeks and I love them just as much as the connect 2. I can't figure out why people were dogging these so bad in reviews.

I'll continue to stick with the Pure Connect. Oh, and they're pretty too!

I had been wearing a different brand of shoes for years and with walking, they were okay. But, I started running and my knee started hurting. I did some research and realized I had a higher arch and needed better arch support. I Googled shoes with a higher arch and found Brooks. Armed with this new informtion, I tried on all of the Brooks shoes at the store and the Pure Connect 2 fit like a glove. I have had no complaints with them. I love everything about the shoe with a perfect fit throughout the entire shoe. They have been absolutely perfect for me. I would not change a thing in the Pure Connect 2's. I tried the Pure Connect 3's at the store the other day and found them too wide in the toe box. I tighten them to fit me better and the seam that runs around the toe box rippled hurting my foot. Now, I would not consider myself to have narrow feet. I did not like the seam that ran throughout the toe box. It rubbed and hurt my foot as I ran in them. Please please keep the Pure Connect 2 around or bring them back if they are gone. They were perfect!!! Why don't you just make a wider version of the Pure Connect 2's for those with wider feet and make them in new colors :) Please!! :)

    Comments about PureConnect 3:

It pulls a bit on the material between my 3rd and 4th right toe. None of the previous pure connects did this. I've owned both mens (8) and woman (9.5) pure connects from the first model.

      Comments about PureConnect 3:

Brooks Pure Connects are hands down the best running shoes I've ever had. I purchased the 2's and fell in love with the amazingly springy and lightweight feel. After putting hundreds of miles on my 2's, it was time for a new pair and I wanted to try out the 3's. I became a bit hesitant after reading some of the not so great reviews. I decided to go with them anyway and boy am I glad I did! I love the 3's even more!! I don't understand the negative reviews, these shoes are amazing. I took them out of the box, went for a 5 1/2 mile run and they felt awesome. I'm so glad I've found the Pure Connects. Seriously, read the description for this shoes, if it sounds like the right shoes for you...buy it and try it out! You'll be glad you did.

So glad I went with this shoe in Neon Yellow. I have to admit, it was the design that first lured me in, as I am usually a Pure Flow user. But after my first 10K run, I was in love. They are a runners dream, and the support is awesome. Love love love

        Narrow and tighter toe box

        Comments about PureConnect 3:

I under pronate, so the pure cadence bothers me…However, if these two shoes could marry each other, it would be my perfect shoe. The Cadence is the very perfect fit in the world, but the problem lies that I do NOT over pronate, so I looked to the Flow and Connect. The Connect had such painfully high arch support (and I have high arches) that I could not wear them. So I tried the Flow. The Flow is too narrow in the toe box. If Brooks could just make a shoe with the main design of the Cadence and NOT make it for over pronators, I would have my perfect shoe. I guess that is what they tried with the Connect, but then the extremely high arch ruined that. I'll be watching for next years line and hope that there is a better shoe for neutral or under pronators that feels more like the Cadence.

I am a track and cross country athlete. I got these shoes for the track season for more of a lightweight running shoe. I average 25-30 miles a week and have been using these shoes for about 4 months now. These shoes have lasted me an EXTREMELY long time and I still love the fit. I have never tried any of the previous styles of the pure connect, so I can't compare them but, I do love this shoe and am ready to order a new pair!
