Additional Information

With lean construction and a responsive fit, the PureCadence 2 rethinks how support technology is engineered. Features like the internal PDRB help prevent overpronation without added parts and the wide Nav Band holds your foot like an endless hug. Add fresh looks and some street cred, and this featherweight friend will run footloose and fancy-free with you.

Just like our core line, we hold PureProject to the industry’s highest weartest and durability standards. Because of their lightweight construction and fewer materials, runners should generally expect shoes from the PureProject line to last approximately 250-300 miles.

I started with Newton Motions shoes last year and just picked up the Pure Cadence2 last month. I had a 10k the first day I wore them and placed 7th in my AG!! Great shoes! However, they have only 60 miles on them and I'm noticing tearing! I have a marathon in June and I'm worried these will be trashed by then.

I switched from Mizunos to Pure Cadence 1's after some great advice from my running group/shoe store. They were wonderful and I went through 3 pairs running halfs, training, and a full. I LOVE PureCadence 1. I was so excited for the Pure Cadence 2 series and then UTTERLY disappointed when I tried them on. They are not close to the same shoe. I've tried the Pure series and was happy that the Cadence fit my foot shape and stride. I've even learned out to run better and can say the shoes really helped. But whatever these shoes are they are not the same. Asymmetrical lacing hurts my arches, the front of the show is a lot narrower and very uncomfortable. the fit is bad, cushioning even feels different. I cannot wear these shoes for running so went and bought every pair of PureCadence 1 I could fine.

HOPE YOU HEAR THESE COMMENTS BROOKS. I'm going to be out of a running shoe when my 1's run out. I can't wear these :c, and I hope the 3 series will be more like the original. why mess with a good thing?

Comments about PureCadence 2:

I have the Cadence 1 and they are awesome. The Cadence 2 is totally different. I ordered the same size and width, yet the 2's are way too big and wide and my feet slide all around. I cannot wear them to work out or run.

      Comments about PureCadence 2:

This is my 2nd pair of Brooks. LOVE my 1st pair of original PureFlow. Expected same results from new PureCadence 2 but do NOT like the new tongue and lacing design that makes it very hard to adjust that area. It pulls the side too close to my ankle. My daughter also ordered these shoes. She has 2 of the original shoes and also does NOT like this new tongue and lacing design. Sorry but just being truthful.
